Actually, SONY is not available for many people as well and its not a popular channel. With that horrible marketing team as well, have you seen the repeat telecast timings? The timings are so messed up that many people can't catch it. They need to start fixing their marketing and scheduling team!

I think the internet viewership is also taken into account? I read something like that somewhere.

I really doubt Kritika and Rajeev can commit for a season 2 with thr in-pipeline films and busy schedule. But yes if the channel and makers r convinced thn the two wudnt have any problem in allotting the required dates!

YRF shows were one of the BEST shows on TV since such a long time. I used to follow all of them religiously and they were so well written with a great cast. I truly miss those shows, its so sad they never got their dues
I wish they would have all returned with a S2 😔

I know, I think the fault lies with the fact we have been forcefed such stupid melodramatic shows that people are just so used to it by now that they cannot adapt to new shows. Many people actually dont like watching these saas bahu shows but every channel is filled with only that, new innovative shows do not get much limelight.

As for season 2, already Saas Bina Sasural and Parvarish r in pipeline so we might get season 2 of reporters. It all depends on how serious the makers and channel r and how thy end it in S1!😳

I loved Mahi way, Rishta.com.

But Sony have a tendency to mess up with unique story concepts. Thr story development team aint as good as Star's or Colors who make evensubstandard concept intrsting with presentation and proper story progression. Thrs a reason why Balika Vadhu and Yeh Rishta still rules the chart, whether we like it or not!😆

Humsafars was good, leads had appeal, but thy messed up with the story line and made the characters shallow when thy had lots of potential!😳 But it was good tht it ended soon, and not stretched beyond limits like Qubool Hai (which still rules the charts 🤪!)

Mooh Boli started off well and I loved its initial episodes but thn again thy blundered with story line and it lost its innocent appeal! Though actors were grt and pair had good chemistry!😳

Thn Kuch To Log Kahenge had all the promises, but faltered in story department and lead actor's health and other issues! STill it managed to grab quite an eyeballs but not TRPs!😳 Didn't live upto the Classic Dhoop Kinare. I didn't even bother to give Jee Le Zara a chance after tht!

LifeOK has nothing new to offer.

For ppl like us in India, its better to stick with foreign shows, Discovery, NatGeo or even History channel!😆

Don't find it worth investing time in daily soaps!😳

I find it rather convenient to watch my fav show on Youtube!😳

Unless thy get thr marketing, story development team, and target market research team straight, its not going to jump back to top 3 spot!

I remembered when sony was launched in India it had one of my fav dubbed English shows "I dream of Jeannie!"

I think they both might if the storyline is good and solid. They are actors who want to do quality work so if their characters have some exciting and new content they will surely allot some time for the show.

I think we have potential for S2 but like you said the fault lies with Sony's staff. They really need to get some better and creative people onboard. They have all the makings to be the big change in telly world but they just don't have the proper backup to support this.

Exactly! Colors and SP have brilliant teams who can make even the worst shows look eye catching enough to keep the audience hooked for atleast first two weeks. Sony on the other hand is quite dull and boring with its promotions and stratgies.

I have stopped watching telly for past 4-5 years 😆 Last I followed a show were the YRF shows which were brilliant but had to die the low trp death.

I agree there is nothing for us to watch. Infact, my family barely bothers because we only get the local channels or regional channels, hindi channels are quite rare and are just filled with crap so none of us even watch TV at home. I catch my shows on YT or online whenever I can. The TV is just home decor now cause no one even bothers to watch it... 😆


I don't get what is going on within the SONY company, they are quite lax with competiting against other channels.

Sony always sucks in their promotional department... Also they don't get the demands of audience 😕 😆 they fail to understand what audience wants from their shows...when a show wud b going very well they will do something which will mess it up ...I think in their past year if they started off 30 shows they closed down those 30 shows within span of 3-4months...they don't give scope to shows to grow on audience they want instant TRPs 😆 ...a show has its own pace to make a place in audience mind...& now if Reporters manage to do that they should take on for next season...

I want Season 2!!😭Reporters is the only show which is sensible,interesting and amazing and a BIG BREAK from those EK and Saas-Bahu and youth shows!TRPs ka nahi pata..but this show is extremely popular!😭Season 2 with the same cast and PH is wanted!😳

You hit the nail on the head! They have ZERO understanding of their viewership, its like they dont care at times, bas channel chalana hai toh chalate hai. They have great potential but such lazy teams.

Acha.. I see, I was thinking of joining twitter for this. Reporters needs more coverage and promotions. Atleast we can use social media for this, RK KK and all the Reporters members deserve to get more recognition for their work! This show has been quite path breaking so far.
