How high are the chances of Season 2?

Well I know there is still time for the show to wind up and its only been like 40 episodes so far but sach bolu toh I can't go back to same old normal life with nothing to watch without a daily dose of RK
I cant imagine it at all!

So guys what are the chances of a season two for this show? Because as far as I know, the trps aren't giving me a lot of hope 😔

And do YOU want a Season 2?? Or is it better if the story winds up in a single season without additional plots?

I WANT a Season 2 if and only we get Rajeev as Kabir and Kritika as Ananya. I wont be able to accept replacements for any of the two. AND I want to see KaYa as a full-fledged couple in this season itself. The next season might trace their journey as a married couple and may be rise of Ananya and fall of Kabir in the world of news and how they cope up with it..

I hate trp. Trp works only for Saas boring shows

its all because people are watching it online more than on tv, and trps are being screwed...people are loving it abroad, but, abroad viewings aren't considered in trp, and if this show would have been on star or something everyone would watch it but, no sony does this everytime...pelase please don't pull this show off, this is the only show making me happy...not watching any other shows except this one :(

Sony is brave for telecasting a show thats not saas-bahu, or persay typical indian drama. I am so impressed by a show like this. Im not sure how many of you watched, or remember Rishta.com, or Maahi Way, seven. Sony aired those too. For years CID has been airing on SONY. It is one of the only channels that constantly tries to bring in something new to the table. NONE of those other shows came back with a second season besides mahi way, but they weren't nearly as popular as Reporters. I think that its high time that Indian Television gets revolutionized, and moves forward with these kinds of shows. Shows that are not ONLY focussed on LOVE and FAMILY AFFAIRS, but much more than that. Do I want a season 2 of reporters? Yes I DO. I don't mind having any characters be a part of the show, even if they are too different actors. I LOVE RK, but at the end of the day it is the writing and direction that makes this show sooo unique, if they cast another actor with equal caliber I think it would still be enjoyable. OBVIOUSLY though like other American TV series, I would prefer that it would come back for more seasons,with the same set of committed characters. When will INDIA start to appreciate Novelty in television?

BTW How long is season 1 supposed to be? 100 episodes?

I personally in favour of season formats of TV shows rather than watching endless dragging soaps 🥱 ...& I think Sony shud b appreciated for coming up with show like Reporters which stands out from rest of TV dramas...

For Reporters season2 I will ship in only if PH & channel retains the star cast specially Rajeev 😳

</div><div>Another wish of mine is, if ever a second season happens, it should NOT air on Sony. Even shows coming on Life OK have a better scope than those aired on Sony ! Sony has the DUMBEST set of people in their marketting team !!!

Agreed wholeheartedly! I only want a S2 if Rajveer-Kritika star in it again!
I think they don't need to show the marriage track next season, maybe show their journey as a couple next season with Ananya's father mystery still not sloved and Ananya still in search and how it affects their relationship.

Sony is a good channel that gives platform for all kinds of new shows but its marketing and development team needs to be FIRED! They need to get some smart promoters.
