The Remix actress says she can relate better to American shows than Indian ones Priya Wal Before taking up my new Sony show Jeete Hai Jiske Liiye, I was stuck with watching television 24x7. I was hooked to American TV shows like Desperate Housewives, Friends, Lost and Grey's Anatomy. All these shows have really touched me. It is so ironic that we urban Indians watch shows like these and easily relate to them, but can't say the same about Indian TV shows. Poor quality It is really sad that Indian television has such a poor quality of entertainment. It hit me all of a sudden while talking to my friends when they too admitted that they could only relate to American shows and not Indian ones. It's really weird how these shows cater to the entire world. Grey's Anatomy has moved me immensely, while Friends is so jovial. All I would like to say is that it's sad that Indian television is incapable of connecting with its target audience.

The damn porcupine....she just pricks everyone to show her shows in their channel n they go like zombies after her!

And american tv rocks!!! 👏 👏 atleast americans know how to make tv soaps and woo their viewers...not only american but worldwide

i do say i hav to agree..ektas ruined it byond repair...all d gd indian shows get hardly ne recognition..n y is tht? bcos @ the same time 2 wives r busy plotting the deths of their hubbys,while said hubbies plan their comeback frm the ded,and their grandchildren[who incidentally look exactly lyk their gramaprents] r worrying abt bein preg with sum1 thy shudnt hav gotten preg wit in the first place...........

i cud go on 😕 english crials r so mch better...remix was one of d only crials wich was ne good,n we all agree tht season 2 wasnt as good as season 1...so evn rmx was forced to bend to the tastes of audience n show stuff fr sake of showin!!

totally agree wid priya thts all i can say......bt then we all shud b grateful tht atleast a show like remix came our way......thts y remix was so special....coz we cud relate to it.....every character was a role model.....every relation n every feeling we cud relate to it.....nd now i know tht remix was a once in a lifetime thing.....sumthing like tht is never gonna happen again 😊

why only blame ekta...isn't it true dat der r takers for her serials...der r people who actually enjoy watching such illogical and regressive shows..actors become household names thanks 2 ekta mai...so who's 2 blame here??..and why just blame television...aren't our movies d same...nonsense films like Dhoom 2 are huge hits….but I bet very few people have seen a heart-wrenching story of d escapdes of prisoner's of war in d recently released film called 1971…..

it is d viewers who r 2 be blamed…we get wat we deserve really…if ekta's serials didn't enjoy such huge TRP's dey would have been axed long before….

Remix was d first hindi serial I started watching…and like rakhi said.. i am glad dat atleast remix happened….

well i do agree wid wat priya has to say, but only to a certain extent .....
there r innumerable american tv shows that we cannot relate to.... fashion house, desire: table for three, etc, etc... they're even worse than kekta mai's shows 🤢 .....
we indians do have a habit of appreciating things that r american.... yes, indian shows r exaggerated, but american shows r too.... shows like 'pyaar vyaar & all that' & remix show that indian tv has grown.... if there r shows like ksbkbt & kzk, then there r also shows like khichdi & sarabhai vs. sarahai.... the glass is either half full or half empty.... & for me, its half full 😊

after sum episodes, we find nothing AAM in the gurl😡AAM gets transformed into a tennis ball..two people playing tennis wid her😡...I mean..kitna struggle dikhayengey yarrr, every1 has problems in their lives, and sum idiotic TV shows add even more, a house wife will discuss bout the vamps, and what will they do next for sum another lady's divorce and yakkkkkkkkkkk..😡 I am death sure you'll must have seen even MALES struggle and earn hard for their family's happiness and to fulfill their requirements, but no1 even thinks to start a show on MALE STRUGGLE in the society, and if by mistake a K serial starts showing a MALE STRUGGLE....then ho gaya...the lead actor will die crying 🤢

INDIAN TELEVISION was very LUCKY to have REMIX, the only and only show wid which a person could relate so very well, take ne character , including the vamps, it was so very real, and a proper college life was shown, we could relate to it so very well, it was a REVOLUTION for all man, I don't think for ne show this gr8 petition was signed yarrr....we all have changed in a possitive manner...but again, all gud things cum to an end, but the memories will never ever end guyz👏
