Ashi stormed into Vrinda' room?.

"hey bhaggu!!!! maateeeeeee, kya hua hai tumhe kaheen galty se hyper tention ki tablets patient ki jagah tumne to nahi kha li? I was just a bit late usmain itna hyper hone ki kya baat thy? And waise tum ye statue ki tarah mujhe stare kyun kar rahi ho?I mean main janty hun that I am too stunningly beautyful and people can't take their eyes off me, but tumhe to ab tak mery cuteness ki aadat ho jany chahiyee??"

vrinda just stares at her blankly??.

"du-huh baat kya hai? Aman se jhagda hua? kya kiya us morone ne tell me I wld fix that morone in two minutess??."

du-huhhh maate pleaze speak or else I would go get the sadu doc who marofies line on u?." Ashi laughs mischeiviosuly??

"Vrindeshwarii devi plz kuch bolo yaar"....she goes and shakes Vrinda but all Vrinda does is hug her friend tightly, as if she wants to shout back at destiny itself that come what may she would not allow anyone to snatch this precious gift of her life. She looks at Ashi and all those years of friendship and trust start revolving around her, her life would have been so vaccant without Ashi and desperately she wiped away her tears in a haste with a resolution thaat she would not let anything happen to her friend??..

Ashi was now seriously anxious and perturbed. The look on her friend's face told her that something was dead wrong??

"maate I m geting this feeling that something is not ok?." Vrinda takes her hand and makes her sit on the chair??"Ashi listen to me and plz for once mujhey smajne ki koshish karma?.."

Ashi snatches her hands away and jumps up from the seat?"Vrinda when have I not understood you? Maate what is it? Out with it yaar the suspense is killing me. Tell me its nothing to do with you guys that all you guys. you, aman, mp, varun, sid and and and that psychoo that psychoo is okay hai na?"...She asks in a reallyyyscared voice because when it come to them she just could not bear anything going wrong....

Vrinda looks at her in wonder....Why does she always has to think about others before herself. Sabka naam mention kiya aur hamesha ki tarah she forgot to mention her own name. Why Ashi why are you so selfless? Kyun tumne sary life doosron ko khushi dene main bita di? Vrinda thought to herself and this thought brought a whirlpool of emotions in her and she was gripped by a yearning to protect Ashi. The feeling was so strong that Vrinda would have happily traded positions and stood in her place to face the wrath of faith as Ashi herself had done so many million times in the past for her and now it was her turn to stand in the way of any harm lurking to swallow her friend?.she takes a deep breath and says?

"ashi tum tum tum pregnant ho??."

Ashi stared at her in disbelief??..

What-Wh-What did you say???.she was so sure this was a trick of her senses...

What did you just say?

Did I hear Preg Pregnant?

She said in a weak voice her eyes pleading to Vrinda to confirm this is reality and not a dream??

She had so many times dreamed that she was playing with her tammy, talking to her, looking at her when she was sleeping, sitting by her crutch all night in yuvi's arms and dheere dheere swinging her palna so that her baby got only dreams full of love and laughter and if any monster dared invaded her dreams then she was right there besides her to shield her away to safety?

And when she found it was just a dream she was always shattered into shambles. The pain of waking up from an impossible dream was the cruellest experience of life as it always left you with a craving which would never be satisfied and reminded you that there was something missing in your life and the apparent happiness was nothing more than an illusion and it took hours for her to accept the emptiness of reality again??

Vrinda nodded her head and Ashi crumplled in the chair wthd the shock of truth?..she cupped her face in her trembling hands and was trying to steady her heartbeat??unknowingly her eyes started flowing in a journey of their own ?she repeated the word again as if asking vrinda its real meaning?..pregnent. pregnent?..her voice echoed and vibrated inside her very deapth?.she brough her shaking hands to her womb and the minute it touched her she knew that bhaggu had struck magic again and he had once again bestowed his love on her by giving her a miracle, she knew then that her tammy was there somewhere inside her, feeling her touch. She wanted to convay to her daughter then and there that this was the moment for which she had been living for, that she today was the happiest being on earth and if life ended right here at this moment she would have no regrets because her impossible dream had turn real. She had once again felt her child so close to her and communicated to her that she loved her more than life itself.

She knew that her lost child too must have sene and heard her then, that even she would have known that her parents had loved her and maybe that's why she had come back to them perhaps to tell them that she loved her parents too?love definatly was an unbreakable bond, try as one might no one can escape it and that same love had brought back her tammy to her...

she started crying uncontrollably and she didn't care who saw or hear her cry, tars came uninhibited...tears that spelled

her desperate joy and her new hope?tears that at long last were washed away all the anguish of the past??She was crying for the child she had lost, but in her heart of hearts she knew that this was the last time she would cry for her because she really did believe that the life which was taking shape with in her was the fragment of the soul which had been snatched away from her....

She hugged Vrinda with a shivering ferver and widout saying a word she left?..without even noticing that there was someone watching ....
