The message sending screen came on and he closed his locker shut,juggling his books and the phone,careful not to drop it.his father would murder him if anything happened to it.
He entered the canteen and his face lighted up.

TIA!!! He gave her a wide grin and made his way towards their table.

Tia was sitting with meher.they had been talking about something and both of them immediately shut up when they saw him approaching.
Meher looked at at the phone in her hand,and snapped it close loudly,grinning.tia snatched it from her and gave her a murderous look.

Ranveer came up to them and asked nervously…
Ranveer:uh..hi meher..(then softly)hi tia.
Tia:hi…
Meher controlled her smile.
Ranveer:toh…kya kar rahi hai aap?
Tia:(jerking her head up.)
Kya kar rahi hoon??matlab??
Ranveer:uhh..weekend pe..any plans??
Tia:nahi…no plans ..kuch nahi.(then a little sadly)tia…maurya mein hi hai.papa london gaye hai toh tia is week ghar nahi ja sakti.
Ranveer(who had been hoping for something else):kya????ghar..
Then,
Oh…par bhi kya hua?aap bahar toh ja sakti hai na?apne doston ke saath?
Meher jumped in at that.
Meher:haan ranveer main bhi yahi keh rahi hoon.ki tia..tum mere ghar aa jao.par who maan hi nahi rahi hai.in fact…mein aur sid kal movie jaa rahe hai aur meine ise bhi invite kiya par yeh hai ki aana nahi chahti.bilkul paagal hai.
Tia:meherrrrrr!!! Threes a crowd!!main kaise tum logon ke saath aa sakti hoon?main nahi aungi.aur tum please hamesha muje sid ke saath invite mat kiya karo.i feel out of place.
Meher:ok baba!! Par tum kya pura weekend yahi pe bore hogi?
Tia:meher tia ne kaha na?? Ta will be fine!!tia bore nahi hogi.par right now tum tia ko bore kar rahi ho.soooo….bye
and she got up and walked out of the canteen.

Ranveer:(hurridly gathering his books):umm..meher..hume bhi jaana hai.ok?bye.
He rushed out,before meher could answer him.

Tia was turning the corner when he caught up with her.

Ranveer:tia!!! Tia rukiye!!!!
He came to a stop,slightly out of breath.
Ranveer:hum..kal movie chale?
Tia:(turning her face a little):nahi…tia…tia theek hai…tum apne friends ke saath jao.
Ranveer slowly turned her towards himself and lifted her chin,to look at her in the eye.
Ranveer:aap bhi humari friend hai.aur agar aap un logon ke saath nahi jaana chahti,toh hum bhi nahi jayenge.agar apko kuch acha nahi lagta hai toh hum who nahi karenge tia.
Tias heart started beating faster.
He was so close to her.
She lowered her eyes and said softly.
Tia:tia….tumhare saath jaana chahti hai…par i dont want ki...tia ki wajah se tumhare aur tumhre friends beech mein koi...problems aaye.aur...its obvious that snvesha doesnt like me...aur tumhari woh new friend bhi...toh tia..

ranveeR:tia aap humari friend hai.agar hum aapke saath jaana chahte hai toh koi aur kuch nahi keh sakta.

A strand of hair fell over her face.ranveer gently pushed it away.but his hand didnt leave her face.

ranveer:aap bahut achi hai.bahut sweet,aur...bahut intelligent...his voice lowered...bahut khubsurat....

his face was just a heartbeat away from hers.he couldnt even see her properly,her face was a blur...

apne aap mein confidence rakhiye tia.and then no anvesha..no ananya will matter...

her eyes flickered a little ...a slight something...in them...

She lifted her head.
Par…
Ranveer completed what she wanted to say.
Ranveer:sirf hum dono jayenge.ok?

she swallowed,then nodded.
she pushed him back slowly.he had pushed her towards the wall and she hadnt noticed it.

Then she turned and walked away slowly towards her room.
She turned back to look at him.he was still there.she kept trning and looking back,till she couldn't see him.
Ranveer smiled to himself!!! Tomorrow he would tell her everything….he just hoped..he wasn't reading the signs wrong….that even she liked him!!!
