According to Deepak Sehgal, executive VP, content, of Star One, the show that had become a cult when it started out was now dwindling as far as ratings were concerned and so they have decided to end it. The show had been adapted from the South African tele novella Rebels Way. ''My personal opinion is that the crowd which watches the show has other activities to indulge in apart from watching TV,'' cites Sehgal as the reason for the downhill ride of the popularity of Remix. Perhaps the fans will curtail those activities, at least for a day, to catch the final episode.

if trp is the reason, then how the hell can he explain yeh dil chahe more? i bet it has lowest trp.. believe me most of the youngsters do love remix , they never stopped watching it.. why cant they take opinion poll... house wivesi meant educated urban sensible housewives , believe me most of my friends dont watch ekthas stupid serials infact its considered down right tacky to do so.. star one has lot answer for
