END of story
Or almost so for some TV shows which will soon go off air
Rachana Nakra
Mumbai, June 18: On a break
Rendezvous with Semi Girebaal, MTV's spoof on Simi Garewal's talk show is going to wrap up this month. But fans needn't worry because it's only a channel strategy, the show will be back, spanking new in Season 2. Ashish Patil, VP and GM, creative and content at MTV says, ''This show got higher TRPs than the original talk show and that makes me want to pee in my pants. But every season we force a change with all shows on MTV, just to freshen up.'' The show's grand finale on June 25 will have Cyrus Sahukar speaking with the real Johnny Lever.

Bad bargain
If you thought only Mihir's character was replaced with a lot of different faces, then you probably haven't watched Sony's game show Deal Ya No Deal. The show started out with host Madhavan, and then came Mandira Bedi and now it's Rajeev Khandelwal. But none of them with their different personalities and hosting styles has able to clinch the deal with the viewers who preferred to stay away. The show is finally wrapping up with its last episode being aired on June 30. Hopefully, not to be replaced by another game show. Considering what happened with Chappar Phad Ke, the channel is probably jinxed as far as game shows go.

Out of tune
Ashi, Tia, Yuvi, Ranveer and the gang will bid adieu to the small screen on July 20 when the last episode of Remix will air. According to Deepak Sehgal, executive VP, content, of Star One, the show that had become a cult when it started out was now dwindling as far as ratings were concerned and so they have decided to end it. The show had been adapted from the South African tele novella Rebels Way. ''My personal opinion is that the crowd which watches the show has other activities to indulge in apart from watching TV,'' cites Sehgal as the reason for the downhill ride of the popularity of Remix. Perhaps the fans will curtail those activities, at least for a day, to catch the final episode
.

Last laugh
Season 1 of the laugh riot came with a bang leaving the audience asking for more. And more is what they got with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Dwitiya. The season finale is happening next week but the show is going to continue with a champions challenge where the six finalists will participate. That could make for more fun, but wonder if this show will also go the saas-bahu way of endless episodes. After all, there's only so much that the viewers can laugh at.

This man has seriously lost it....I mean agreed all of us surely have better things to do than watching shows like nimmo n IC...but when it came to remix none of us missed even a single epi....so much so that we even watched the repeats........infact fought for the repeats n got them back n this is the reason he gives for the ending the show

And mabbe he thought that the show was loosing its popularity to some extent.....but then after the numerous mails we sent to star one he could have surely changed his decision

All this person seems to be concerned abt is TRP's n for that he wouldnt mind changing star one to another star plus 🤢 🤢 🤢 🤢

I mean...evn the kekta serials hav low trp's...but they wont end those serials...y??? coz they're kekta serials after all.....🤢 and ppl love to watch them...🤢🤢

But wat abt our love for remix....nopes...they wont consider it at all.....just because remix is watched by only the youth....doesnt mean that they shud end it....😡😡😡

And remix is gonna be replaced by another kekta serial to top it all.....🤢🤢🤢 this is the worst that cud've happened...😡😡
