well...srry i hvnt written since ages...i doubt any1 remembers my fic..but even then i wish 2 post dis part...read d before 2 parts 2 understand....

Ashi's phone rang…. reluctantly she picked it up…the sun was shining brightly outside but ashi knew her day wasn't going to be bright like the sun…it was a dark terribly long night…she had wept for hours…n finally dozed off….her cell ring woke her up…

'hello?'

' good morning ashi..its me larry'

' oh larry….hi'

' still in bed?'

' ya…how come u called so early in the morning today'

' well…im in a mood to have a nice breakfast…so lets go nah'

' larry im sorry but I really not in the mood'

' I know what happened…I spoke to yuvi last night…and I know ur low…n I want to cheer u up…so nothing doing. just freshen up…im coming to pick in 20 mins'

' larry plz im really not up to it'

' I know….but u also know that im going to have it my way in the end…so just hurry up all rite…we r going'

' ohh larry…no plzz….'

but larry didn't listen to her…n she had no choice but to go with….

They went to a quite caf….larry saw ashi's eyes swollen wid dark circles n realized that she hadn't slept all night n was crying bitterly…

' larry I didn't know what to do…n I still don't know what I did was right…it all so messed up..' ashi told larry about the whole conversation she had wid yuvi…she knew he was someone she could share her problems wid…he was her n yuvi's best friend…and she felt her heart feel lighter now that she had told him everything…

' I understand ashi…it wasnt easy for u…n trust me nor is it for yuvi…because I know he loves u a lot'

' well then its sad he cant do anything for his love n himself'

' ashi I don't know nor understand what yuvi is doing but I respect him n his ideology…and I understand n relate to ur wishes n worries…u have to accept it that u guys want different things from ur life…n living together is going to be difficult…I think u made a wise n practical decision…'

' I guess so…but its not easy to let it all go larry'

' I know its not easy to get over a heartbreak…but u have to be strong…doing what is difficult but right is the challenge of life ashi….n u have to come strong out of this challenge… fight it…because thats the only way I know ashi…she will fight it…not fear away…. lament n cry…right?'

' yup im a strong…n im going to get over him....yeah anvesha can do it…I can face this challenge'

' yes u can…n remember ashi I always there for u allrite'

' ya I know larry…n I know u hate it when I say this but thanks…seriously ur my best buddy'

they left the caf n went their separate ways…larry felt very bad for ashi n yuvi for according to him they were the perfect couple…made for each other…but probably destiny had other things in mind for them, he pondered…but somehow he felt more bad for ashi than for yuvi…for the usual ashi wasn't there today when they meet…she wasn't obvious her enthusiastic, full of fun self…understandable but the pain he saw in her eyes moved him…n he suddenly realized how much ashi loved yuvi… he vowed to himself that he would make an extra effort to get her over yuvi...to get back the normal ashi…the ashi he knew….

Part 6

Yuvi reluctantly got dressed to go for a party…he hadn't been to one since really long now….not that he was missing partying but he had to attend this one for it was thrown by larry…larry was a dear friend n would be hurt if yuvi missed his birthday bash…yuvi was apprehensive to go to the party n had made many excuses for he knew he would have to face ashi there but larry didn't buy any of his excuses n here was yuvi about to face ashi two weeks after their chaotic break up….

Ashi was facing the same problem…for she was sure to come face to face with yuvi he would also come for the party….but she had to go for larry had been a true friend n was there wid her always….n today was his special day….


Ashi entered the room packed wid people…she spotted larry on the dance floor after looking around for a while….she hugged him n gave him his present…he forced her to dance but the minute he turned around she walked to the bar section n sat down….she tried to convince herself to dance n enjoy like the rest but she just couldn't get herself to do something her heart so-not-wanted…it wanted to be wid someone…dance n sing wid that someone…but…well u don't always get all tht u want…one part of ashi didn't want to face yuvi…but another somewhere deep down, wanted to see his face n converse wid him….but she knew all of this would be very difficult….her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a familiar voice….
' one whisky soda please' yuvi requested the bartender…
' right up sir'
ashi knew this voice a bit to well…she debated wid herself for 2 mins before turning towards yuvi ( her face was towards the dancefloor)
they both looked at each other
'er…hi..' yuvi whispered
hi…was all ashi managed to say back…for a long time there was complete silence…the only noise being of the blasting music…both didn't know what to tell each other…anyone who knew them would be surprised to see the two quiet n not chatting or arguing…but obvious now it was a different story….everything had changed….
' so how is tennis going' yuvi asked conversationally
' fine…how is ur work?
'As usual'
' ashi!' ' yuvi'
they both said each other's names together…
' hmmm…ya go ashi…'uv said
' look yuvi…its immaturity on our parts to avoid each other or act like strangers… destiny has other things in mind for us I guess…'
' ya ur rite…its all destiny…we should blame it on her, rite..'….she continued as yuvi didn't respond to that n made a grim face…
'yuvi…look this isn't easy for me either…we love each other but we want different things for our lives….maybe our love story doesn't have the perfect ending...but we realize what we want for our lives…n we have made our decision to move on…which is a wise thing to do…'
' ya im glad even after all of this im doing what I always wanted to not leaving it behind …n im happy ashi that u understand n respect my decision…maybe we wont be together but that doesn't mean we weren't meant for each other….its just that we cant be wid each other…its just that we need to end this here…but remember ashi, im always there for u…as a friend, a confidante….never hesitate to ask me for any help for I will be more than willing to at least do that…n at the end of it all ashi I really care for u n I wish to see u happy in life….Living it the way u want it…n fulfilling all ur wishes…'

' thanks ashi…u know I wish the same for u…' hesitant he said..'umm'…n suddenly said 'wacko!!' n smirked

larry suddenly appears from the crowd….
' u guys…wow…that was quick...'
they looked at him questionable…
'well the motive of the party is solved it seems'
they gave larry angry looks but smiled at the same time…
' now if u don't mind…its my bloody 'dance' party…so just get up n hit the dance floor u both…
N he pulls both of them to the dance floor….the music does its magic as always….n yuvi n ashi get into the groove….the dance away just like old friends, nothing else, partying together till the wee hours of the morning….

Excellent fic mitali 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏...u know I read ur entire fic last night but couldnt comment due to my net connection....but I just fell in love with ur fic...its so different....brings out an altogether new side of ashi n yuvi....the way they behave so maturely in it reminds me of that scene where Yuvi comes to ashi's room to tell her abt the bet but couldnt... in that scene ashi spoke so maturely....never seen that side of hers b4

read the last part just now.......n its AWESOME 👏 👏 👏 👏.....u know even if ashi n yuvi r not together in ur fic it doesnt make me sad....coz they have understood each other so well.....they respect eachothers choices n decisions which is so imp in a relationship.....hats off to u mitali for portraying ashi n yuvi in such a manner......plz continue this amazing fic regularly......will be waiting for the next part 😃
