And when the kiss ended a new era began.. the era of love!.. where he was her knight in a shining armor and she was the queen of his fairyland..
The broke the kiss due to the fact that they were gasping for breath..
'Yuvi?' she asked, ruffling his hair..
'Mhmm..' he was engrossed in her, and the smell of her shampoo was enticing enough to capture her attention.
'I am sorry to cause you all this trouble.'
And he looked into her eyes, and he saw sincerity and love.. this was the moment he always wanted.. this was the sole moment for which he always wanted to be thankful to God.. he knew this was the time.. it was now or never.. it was neither in a fancy restaurant, nor at a candlelit dinner, but it was the juncture of love.. and according to his opinion.. love mattered a lot more than either of those things.. the blazing sunshine accentuated the happiness in her eyes.. her chocolate eyes urged him to love her..
And slowly he got down on one knee to ask the very question which had turned his life apart. He knew that he was rushing through.. but something in her eyes just told him, they were made for each other..
'Anvesha.. I have known you for a long time. As friends, rivals, enemies, lovers, we have always been together. Today I would like to secure our bond.. secure the proof that you are my ray of sunshine. Anvesha Banerjee Ray, will you marry me?'
She didn't have to think twice to answer.. it was where her heart belonged.. it was where she would be happiest. And this time in his eyes there was no pleading..
'Yes.' She whispered.. eyes full of love..
And looking at her, he knew Cupid had struck again..
