Looking at the watch, he jumped up. It as very late and he had to be at his office exactly seven minutes later. And he was not looking forward to meet his personal assistant, who was also his love.. he remembered what he had said last night in the interview. Love said no.. how he wished love had said yes.. he sighed dejectedly and raced out of the house..

He delved upon how much his life had changed in the last few days.. the reason was her. those chocolate deep eyes, those soft reddish lips, that wavy hair bouncing as she walks taking confident steps.. that smile which could win anyone.. and the hurt when he had ordered out of his office.. the reason was her..

She was working on a file when he came in. Being under the French system of work, an assistant was supposed to be the first one to greet the boss. She stood up as he arrived.

'Good morning.' Her voice was very soft, and nervous.. as if she was almost scared of him.

'Morning.' He grunted, and slapped himself mentally for being such a jerk to her. And then he noticed that the shiny diamond ring was no longer on her finger. She followed his gaze and saw him looking at her finger..

'Well.. if you must know, I broke up the engagement with Pierre. It.. well I didn't think it would work. And also there was someone else.. but that should not bother you.' She stated all that simply and turned to leave..

'Who?' his voice made her turn around and watch him.. she honestly thought he wouldn't care..

'What?'

'The other person.. who was it?'

'You.'

Her reply was without any hesitation.. and she said that looking at him directly in the eyes..

The next moment was sealed with a the most passionate and romantic kiss the 'city of love' has ever seen..
