EXACTLY!! DITTO to what Mads, Naps, and Smriti have said already!!!! Like word for word agreeeeee!!!
We can just look at season 2 of Remix for example. If during those times, where we DID have good shows/scripts being made, Remix can loose it's potential in terms of season 2, then these days toh shuru hone se pehle hi it's going to get ruined.
I am damn sure that if Remix comes back, and that too on the very useless channel star one, it IS 100% going to get ruined.
I seriously don't trust anything when it comes to star one at all! And WORDD to what Smriti also said about star one people pretending to do things on so called "public demand"! Yeah right!
Star one has been playing with the mindsets of blind fan-girls for years now.
Recent examples would be all these DMG/MJHT type ke shows with Shilpa, Rati etc. coming back...random couples breaking up and hooking up and what not. These are all dumb tricks star one uses to play with the mindsets of fans and try to keep them hooked on to the shows.
And if we just think broadly, not just with tv shows...but just take a look at entertainment in general around the world in terms of movies and everything.
There are hardly any good tv shows or even movies for that matter in GENERAL being made these days.
It's all about the money, and what sells. Currently it's HAWTNESS that sells. And this is is what people want as well. A jodi that hooks up with HAWTT scenes galore! Nobody gives a crap about a decent storyline, characters, situations, dialogues anything. You can pretty much hook up ANYYY two people and show HAWT scenes and people will be happy.
These are the standards of today. With these standards how can you possibly expect a show like Remix that too on a channel like star one to stay true to its essence? There is no way it would work.
And to give another example, take a look at the bollywood forum on IF too these days. People hook up ANY two actors, Imran, Deepika blah blah blah whoever! And are happy with a few HAWT scenes between them.
Seriously, I can't even dare to expect an awesome show like Remix being handled in the hands of star one type ke people who give a DAMN about a good story, script or having an actual INSIGHT! Actually CARING about the characters, the STORY!!!
And even like Mads, Naps, and Smriti mentioned before, it takes hard work to think of a proper story. Anyone can show HAWT scenes, but you need a creative genius to be able to write a good script and show it well. And I doubt the star one team has anyone like that!
There's only a few ginne chunne shows around these days that actually have a STORY to tell. They are not just making a show, based on some formula of what sells, they are doing it because they have a vision. They have a story to tell.
And until the WHOLE entire team (which unfortunately includes star one) is motivated enough to show an actual story through Remix, there really isn't any point in requesting for its return.
And yeah I wouldn't even WANT to deal with star one people. Contacting SA would def. be a 100 times better option.
And I actually think it's better if we have a closure with Remix you know what I mean? Eventually all shows do end. It's pointless to keep stretching a show for no reason, when the story has obviously ended. It's better to finish it and relive the memories than keep stretching it for eternity JUST for the sake of showing it! That's not going to work.
Yeah, unless SA or another writer actually had a vision for Remix. A story they wanted to continue then I would be up for that too. But then even that, I really don't think you can do much more with Remix...everything has been explored already like Smrits said. I haven't seen season 2 properly but from what I've read of you guys' posts, it does seem that SA gave a proper closure to all the tracks. There's really nothing much left to explore with these characters!
But yeah, unless SA or a writer had another story/vision then yeah that would be totally worth fighting for!!
I would actually rather see these actors we love so much, in different show's. Even maybe there could be another show with the same cast and a different storyline, that'd be awesome as well. I do love the actors that have been a part of Remix and I would love to see them back on tv doing better roles, but I'd rather not see them acting like clowns like the rest of the star one actors!
I do appreciate your thought about wanting Remix back though Sindhu! It's a great idea/thought...I just DESPISE the star one channel too much to think this would be practical. If maybe we were dealing with another channel, I'd feel differently.
