Ashi is still wondering as to what's wrong with uv.
Ashi: (in her mind) aaj toh maine usse jhagdaa bhi nahi kiya and I didn't even talk to him, then what happened to him?? anyways yen he man toh aajkal ek riddle bannta jaa raha hain , pata nahi iska kyaa hoga !!!!!!!! ( an gives out a heavy sigh )
Vrinda : ( coming near ashi and testing her temperature as though she is unwell ) did u say that ?? tumhaari tabeeyat toh theek hain naa ??
Ashi : mate what's wrong with u ?? and maine aisa keh diya ??
Vrinda : did u say him to stay calm and not take pangas with teachers when u have attained a ph.d in that ??
Ashi : mate u don't know him !! jab use gussa aata hain naa then no one can ctrl him !! not even bhaggu !! he doesn't even care ki who is the person with whom he is fighting and he can go to any extent
Vrinda :oh !!!!!!then he is much more dangerous than u
Ashi : u bet !! but dil ka bahut accha hain , he is the person whom u can trust closing your eyes
Vrinda : accha !!! oh ashi abhi jaake mujhe library ke books return karni hain , byee !!

Ashi is lost in her thoughts of her life before maurya at st .marks . the way she was enjoying her life there , after all she studied there for almost 10 years !!! she remembered her friends there , the way they used to irritate their teachers and then be punished , the way she hated her bioteacher coz she couldn't remember those funny names of same species ,that's when harsh(another friend ) told her an easy way of remembering those names : keep calling ppl whom u don't like by those names .
when the whole class was like a gang , united they stood no matter who was in trouble .in fact this was what she hated about maurya , there were mini groups in the class , ppl who used to snitch ,backstab ….. there where times when teachers used to think a lot before punishing any student coz they needed to face the other 49 's wrath if they were wrong in their judgement . where everyone was treated the same ,no difference between scholarship and payment students . but she even remembered that other sections were dead against theirs coz they hated their section and the person who used to be hurt the most was khushi coz she was an orphan and was usually illtreated and commented on that part . ashi and Neal always made sure that she wasn't alone and so khushi was like a family member to both families , she never felt like an orphan in their presense specially in presence of soniaand neal's parents .ashi used to see a part of khushi in MP and that's why she cared for her even more
Neal was ashi's first friend , he was the son of sonia's best friend . they knew each other since when they were toddlers . Neal was almost 6 months elder to ashi ,and was sometimes overprotective abt her and then khushi entered their lives , their third friend , abt whom both were possessive and protective abt .Neal and khushi were always there for ashi, and they had seen the actual ashi , knew her better than anyone ,even Sonia .ashi never hesitated to speak her heart out in front of them ,ask them their suggestions or even cry in front of them , yes !!!! Ashi had dared to cry in front of uv other than them. but somehow she never told them abt uv even when he dated her or ditched her ,coz she knew , if she told they would definitely hate him and she didn't want them to hate uv ,coz ……….
……….jus then Ranveer enters and slightly buzzes her out of her dream world.
