Udne Ki Aasha's Kanwar Dhillon wants to host EVERY non-fiction show & award function: 'Feedback has been..'

Actor Kanwar Dhillon, currently seen as Sachin in Udne Ki Aasha, recently impressed audiences with his confident hosting at the Star Parivaar Awards. Known for his popular roles in Pandya Store, Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee, Piya Rangrezz, and Do Dil Ek Jaan, the actor says anchoring has always been something he wanted to explore alongside acting.

“I’ve always wanted to anchor and host shows since the beginning of my career,” shares Kanwar. “I knew that one day I’d reach a point where I could balance both acting and anchoring. I’m so glad Star Plus gave me this opportunity with Star Parivaar. It was the first award function I hosted solo, and it was a truly special feeling.”

For Kanwar, the experience was both exciting and humbling.

“Anchoring requires a completely different skill set — you have to be spontaneous, quick with your words, and confident enough to handle a live audience,” he explains. “I’ve always believed I had that capability, and I’m really happy I finally got a chance to show it to the world.”

The best part of the experience, he says, was seeing his parents in the audience.

“My father, mother, and brother were there cheering for me. When I saw how proud my father looked, that validation meant everything. My family’s feedback is always honest, so when they enjoyed it, I knew I had done something right.”

The actor, who has been trending ever since the event aired, feels this new chapter adds another dimension to his career.

“The feedback has been amazing, and it’s given me even more confidence to take up similar opportunities. I would love to host every non-fiction show and award function that comes my way,” he smiles.

From a promising debut in Buddy project to Do Dil Ek Jaan to delivering memorable performances in Piya Rangrezz, Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee, and Pandya Store, Kanwar Dhillon has now added another feather to his cap.
