English Musical play opera 'Da Dating Truths' is all set to premiere on Saturday 5th December at St. Andrews auditorium. Directed by Prya Ary and Ravi Gosain, this play has 16 original songs composed specially for the play by Aashish Reggo and KC Loy.

But it was the rehearsals for this play that became the place of sweat and fun for all the artistes. Comments Shekhar Suman who is playing the role of Love God in the play, "director Prriya is a tough task master. She will not let you be till she is satisfied with the moves." However, when Shekhar was doing his steps with Priya Wal and Vaibhavi Upadhyay, it was choreographer Longinus, who was making them word harder on their steps and insisting on more practice. "Between the directors and choreographer, it is we artiste who are getting squashed," laughs Gaurav Chopra who is the Mr Right Samay Chauhan. But all in all, the artistes and technical team was having loads of fun.

DA DATING TRUTHS is a light, witty, romantic play. A beautiful saga of any common girl and her journey to meet her Mr. Right while enjoying all her Mr. Wrongs. Humorous yet extremely relatable, DA DATING TRUTHS is all about smiles and laughter and lovely moments that surely will take your heart away. Its a 2 hours journey into the world of Love, Lust and Romance. Its Adam and Eve coming back to life from eternity.

The dreamy set and excellent lighting enhance the mood. Why so much of opulence in theatre? "Why not? When it had begun, theatre was associated with splendor and theatricals, music and movement, emotions and beauty. What we are doing is just rearrangement of old times. Something that has been transferred to cinema, we are trying to bring it back into theatre," comments director Prriya Ary. Adds Ravi Gosain, "theatre is the medium of expression and entertainment both. This is what we have done in this play. With the help of good artistes, music and excellent choreography we surely will set a new trend."

Produced By Spicey Smile India Pvt. Ltd., this play is directed by Prriya Ary & Ravi Gosain. It has music by Aashish Reggo and KC Loy while dance is conceptualized & designed by Longinus of jai ho fame.
