If u r trying to find reasons for not jumping , the reason could be, he was soo busy trying to make sure suman is alright that by the time he made sure and he looked up, he realized it was too late and he had wasted his precious moments on some one not worth wasting a min. over.

If they both had jumped then who wud have controlled the car,the car cudnt be led downhill on its own.

The car didnt need to be led downhill its not like he was going to park it. He couldve pushed her, jumped out and the car wouldve rolled off the edge itself. If the bloody brakes arent working why are you pushing the pedal again and again???just jump!!!!
