Alzia OS "Fighting with one's own heart"
It was a fine Ramdan day, the sun was shining brightly above all, and the wind blowing a little hot but pleasant blow, Razia Sultan the first lady to succeess her father as the Sultan marched towards Bhatinda, to defeat a rebel, but he wasn't just another governor who went against her for power, he was instead the one who had helped her get back her throne, who had stood by her through thick and thin who was her support her shield and her power once, and now who wanted her to lower her head infront of him, just because she had done what her heart said, what her morals told her, what her duties asked her to do and being a very honest and respectful woman, she didn't care who was her enemy all that mattered now was her kingdom and her authority which was challenged by her arrogant ex-fiance.

Malik Altunia prostrated before the Almighty and finishing his dhur prayers he raised his hands and prayed.
Altunia; Mere Maula, tu to jaanta he is deewane ne zindagi me sirf khoya hi hai, aur phir tujhse kabhi gila nhi kiya, bas ik Karam krde Maula, mujhe mera khoya hua junoon lota de, meri amanat me jo khayanat hui he us amanat ko lota de, meri jo qeemti cheez kho gai he wo lota de, bas uske liye agr meri jaan bhi jaye to ye deewana uff tak na krega. Aameen
he folded his prayer cloth wrapped it and kept it aside. Atigin entered his tent
Atigin; lashkar tayar he Altunia, Sultan-e-hind bas kuch hi faasle pe he chalo waqt aa hi gya jab hum unse hamari tauheen ka badla len
Altunia; badla nahi Atigin, hamen bas jawab chahiye, agar jawab milgya to theek hai wrna hum unse hamara jawab bhi cheen lenge aur unka gurur bhi
Altunia put on his warrior suit and moved out of the tent.

Razia stopped all of a sudden
Yaqut; kya hua Sultan, aap achanak ruk gayi? hum jaante hen aap bht thaki hui hen, uparse aapko roza bhi he, humari baat maniye abhi wapas delhi hi chalte hen, wahan ja k soch k phir puri tayari k saath wapas ayenge
Razia; nahi Yaqut, hum thake nhi, Razia Sultan na kamzor he aur na hi bebas, hum to sirf namaz ki adayegi k liye ruke hen, Allah se dua krne k baad hi hum aage badhenge
Yaqut; jee Sultan
Razia offered her prayers and then she sat down to pray
Razia; Ya Allah humen hamare maqsad me kamyab krna, aameen

It was afternoon time, the sun was dorectly above the battle field as the two armies faced each other, the hot wind touched Razia's face , a strand of her hair moved to her face and irritated her, the same wind reached the other side, and touched Altunia's face, he closed his eyes and sniffed it.
Razia; yahan ki to hawa bhi baagi ho chuki he Yaqut, dekho to kis tarah hamen pareshan kr rhi he
Yaqut; Sultan abhi bhi waqt he lot chaliye
Razia; hum buzdil nhi hen Yaqut jab yahan tak aye hen to ab bina lade wapas nhi jayenge
The armies were at a distance, and so Altunia and Razia could only make out each other's silhouttes , unable to see their faces, but Altunia could figure out that Yaqut was close to her, he clenched his fist tightening his grip on his sword.
Altunia; aaj is habshi ka kaam hum yahin tamam kr denge
Atigin; magar roze me qatl? Altunia mat bhulo tum ibadat ki haalat me ho
"yalgaar ho" ALtunia shouted from his end and Razia from hers, conincidence or not but their voices were in such a sync that they were indistinct to the listeners. And the armies moved towards each other, the large armies collided, Altunia jumped from his horse and started fighting.
Razia and Altunia were quite far from each other, they started fighting with each other's soldiers.
Yaqut; Sultan aap ziada mat ladiye aapko roza he
Razia; to kya hua, hum bht sakht jaan hen Yaqut
Yaqut; Lekin Sultan
Razia; hamari fiqr mat kijiye baaqi sab ka khayal rkhiye aaj roza na sahi sbka magar phir bhi sb wese hi thake huye hen pichli jung se, aur kal se kuch khas khaya piya bhi nahi.
Yaqut; jo hukum sultan
The war went on and on for hours and neither ALtunia nor Razia even had a glimpse of each other, until the sun had lowered it self, and had lost alot of its brightness, it was the time before sunset, the time when sun is not at its peak nor has it set or gone orange, just in middle. Razia pushed a soldier and moved towards the next. It was then that she saw him and at the same time he saw her, their eyes met again, his head armor had fallen down, but so had her turban, and a sudden rushed blow of wind blew her hair so fast that her hair falled loose open on her back, she was covered in dust but her face glowed, her lips were like she just ate a red juicy cherry , her eyes shining, he looked at her blindly, it was a long time since he had seen her, a very long time, the last time was when he was told to move to Bhatinda, because he was a distraction, according to the great Razia Sultan, Malik Altunia was a distraction, someone who didn't allow her to focus when she was at work, who was the reason she couldn't concentrate, she had argued and when things didn't go the way she wanted she ordered him to leave her, because for her, their was no time for love or marriage. He fumed as he recalled their bitter moments, the time when he had pleaded her to marry him, to fulfill the promises she did, to make him a permanent part of her life, the time when she told him she had no time to love, that she was the Sultan and her kingdom came first, that her love life was not as important.
He kept staring at her, she was still beautiful, still the same, or had grown prettier, she was definetly appearing alot more beautiful then usual, not because he saw her after so long, but because he loved her the most when she was in her lioness mode, ready to attack. He had always adored the fearless girl in her, the fire that burned everything, but sadly his heart was also burned by that very fire, he shrugged as the memories were too painful to bear.
Razia stared at him as he stared back, they both stood like statues while their armies fought, his hair were flying with the wind, his eyes open wide and staring at her, like they aways did, with love, with anger, with affection, he looked a little different, or completely different, his usual smirk was gone, his eyes had lost the naughtiness, the lovely Mirza she knew was nowhere to be seen, the person who stood before her was the dangerous arrogant Malik who wanted her down at any cost, the person who had always claimed to love her did this, she couldn't believe her eyes, they did argue and their relation ended on a bitter note, but she never stopped loving him, she couldn't detach a part of her heart from herself ever, and she had explained her reasons well enough but he didn't want to listen, he left her and she was all alone, facing the harsh world which included him too. A tear escaped her eye as she closed her eyes to get rid of their bitter and sweet memories. She opened her eyes again and he was gone, she moved her head in all directions to see where he had gone but she just couldn't find him, she decided to fight with the soldiers instead of wasting time on him, she had come with the intention to find him and talk but she knew he wouldn't listen because his ego had risen above everything else.
She was fighting with a soldier when suddenly she noticed that the soldier was not putting up a good fight, he was just defending himself
RAzia; kya hua miyan? aurat se ladne me sharam ati he kya?
Soldier; nahi Sultan, lekin humne aap pe talwar na chalane ki qasam khai he
Razia was shocked, what kind of a war was this if the soldiers had sweared not to attack kr. She was lost in thoughts when Altunia hit her sword , her grip was still tight, the sword moved but didn't fall, and in a reflex she hit back, their swords hit each other with a loud noice, just below their eye level and she looked up, she saw his eyes, the eyes that used to have nothing but love for her, and surprisingly even now she could see some remains of that love there.
Altunia; Delhi ki Sultan ek mamuli se subedaar ki bagawat ko kuchalne khud yahan aai hen? apni foj ki ek tukdi hi bhej di hoti, ya aapko unki qabiliyat pe shaq tha?
Razia; shaq nhi tha...bas yun kahiye k jin dhagon ki dor khuli chod di jai hen unhe khud aa k bandhna chahiye kya pta ghant phirse koi dheemi bandhe aur kamzor dhage phirse bikhar jayen
Altunia; dhaage to ab kisi ghaanth se na judenge mohtarma, jali hui imarten aur toote hue sheeshe kabhi phirse juda nhi krte
Razia; sahi kaha aapne, lekin jale huye ghar k maalik ka kya, uske paas to bas wahi thikana he na, jesa bhi ho jo bhi ho rehna to sui me hoga na usko
Altunia; yehi hum bhi samjh k chup the mohtarma, lekin esa he nhi, maalik ne to naya ashiyana dhund liya aur us ghar ko to thes nehes krne ka mansooba bhi bna liya, k zameen pe bhi us jale huye ghar ka namo nishan na bache
Razia; wo maalik jabse beghar hua he, usne ek chat tak na pai he sir chupane ko, thikane ki baat to bht door he mirza
Yaqut came running to them.
Yaqut; Sultan aap peeche hatiye is se main nipatta hun
he pulled Razia behind him and hit his own sword, Razia wiped her tears silently, but Mirza got violent, his anger was on its highest peaks as he saw Yaqut touch her, he wanted to slash his hand cut his arm and make its pieces but he was fasting and he wouldn't in anyway harm his connection with God, he hit Yaqut's sword in anger. Razia came in between them.
Razia; ye hamari ladai he Yaqut, hamara hukum he, aap peeche hat jaiye
he nodded and moved back, he went to fight with others, Altunia faked a laugh
Altunia; itna bhi mat dariye Sultan, aapke dil k tukre ko hum abhi chaa k bhi nhi maar skte
Razia; dil ka tukra? Mirza aap?
Altunia looked at her intensely and his eyes frightened her, his eyes were red in anger, his forehead creased, his breaths heavy.
Altunia; thikane ki baat k rhi hen aap? arre us habshi k saath khwabon k mehel saja rkhe hen aapne aur hamen dosh deti hen ap
RAzia; khabardar mirza, mat bhuliye hamara mazhab hamen arbi aur habshi me farq krne ki ijazat nhi deta, sirf is baat pe aap baqi sab turkon k saath mil k humse bagawat pr utar aye? kahan gye wo saare usool jinki duhai dete phirte the aap?
Altunia; usool? usool humne tode hen ya aapne? waade humse kiye aur nibha kisi aur k saath rhi hen aap? Razia Sultan kitni badi fareb dhokebaaz aurat he ye koi humse pooche, akhir he hi kya us habshi me? jo hamen bhatinda bhej k uske saath shuru hogai aap?
Razia couldn't take it she raised her sword to hit him and their swords collided again, they started fighting. Her sword hit his hand and it started to bleed.
"Mirza!" she said panicking, but he was unstoppable, there was nothing more painful then what he was already suffering, he had never planned to love and when he did he suffered a harsh heartbreak and the already tough Altunia had turned into a marble now, a shining white marble that was not easy to break, only the most powerful diamond could do that, and that diamond was not possessed by the Delhi Sultanate.
Razia couldn't help but stare at his open wound that she gave him just now, he couldn't but she could feel the pain, the burning sensation and the lump in her throat was unbearable, they had a strong relation once and some strings even if broken their loose ends still belong to each other, she recalled the times when they were head over heels for each other, when they talked laughed smiled only for each other, and now they were infront of each other, attacking fighting, wanting revenge, all these thoughts brought tears to her eyes. She was so lost in thoughts that she didn't see an attack on her, but she was shocked to see who stopped it.
His eyes were emitting heat now as he pushed the soldier with extreme force and he hit the groud hard
ALtunia; hamne kya hukum diya tha yaad nhi tumhen?
Soldier; maaf krdijiye subedaar sahab
Razia looked at him confused.
Razia; hum pe kisi bhi qism ka waar krne se aapne sabko mana kr rkha he? kyun? aurton pe haath uthane se aapki mardangi ko daag lag jayega kya?
Altunia; aurton me aur Razia SUltan me kya farq he ye hum jaante hen. HUmne bagawat aapki sultanate aur aapse ki he...pr aapke liye jo humne kabhi mehsoos kiya tha wo hamen aapko dard dene ki ijazat nhi deta Sultan.
Razia; dard sirf jismani nhi hta
Altunia; ye baat humse behtar kon jaan skta he
Razia; aap ko kya lagta he hum bhi aap pe rehem krenge?
Altunia smirked, the sun was setting and it was almost dark, the sky was all orange or rather blood red
Altunia; apne charon aur dekhiye Sultan, aapki foj ka haal to dekhiye
Razia looked around, she could see alot of her soldiers already dead, some badly wounded, others trying hard to put up a fight, Razia's tired army was no match for Altunia's, though more in number Razia's soldiers gave up easily, as they were tired and thirsty and the heat of the war field took away all their strength. Razia looked at Yaqut and smiled, he was alone fighting with 5 men.
Razia; hamen puri foj ki zarurat nahi he, Yaqut akele hi aap ki puri foj se nipat lenge
Altunia's blood boiled to see praise in her eyes for Yaqut, he eyes glowed when she called his name out loud and it was like scratching open ALtunia's wounds, and sprinkling salt on them, he growled in anger.
Altunia; bas kuch waqt aur Sultan, bas kuch waqt aur
A soldier came and hit Razia's sword, she was busy fighting him and didn't realize that ALtunia was out of sight, and then she heard the azan of maghrib prayer, all soldiers stopped then and there, Razia took out a date from her dress pocket and opened her fast, she then sat down and prostrated before the Almighty.
Razia; mere Maula, madat kr hamari, aaj hamare dil ki jeet ho aur baaqi sb ki haar.
The sun was gone and it was getting darker, Razia stood up and saw Altunia standing before her, the war field was clear now, many soldiers out of it, and as Altunia and Razia faced each other, staring into each other's eyes, the wind blowing slowly, as if the world had stopped.
There was something in his eyes, something very dangerous, he stared as the tiger stared at its prey just before an attack
Altunia; Razia Sultan, ulti ginti shuru krdo, tumhara zawal ye tumhara ashiq aaj khud likhega
Razia's eyes opened wide, she was in a state of confusion, and it all happened quick, one second ALtunia smirked infront of her and the next, he turned jumped, and roaring like a fearless ruthless lion he moved his sword attacking his biggest enemy.
"Yaaaqut" Razia yelled in shock, fear and sorrow, Yaqut fell on the ground with a thud, he was not dead, but he was stabbed mercilessly in his chest, piercing his heart, he looked at Razia and smiled, and then he was still forever. Razia fell on her knees in shock, her friend was gone forever, the only person she counted on, was gone, dead and the person who killed him was the one he had loved or still did. She looked at Altunia who was standing blood-stained with his face glowing and his eyes glistening, he kicked Yaqut's body and it was turned to a side. Altunia started laughing evily , he laughed heavily, like a crazy psycopath serial killer. Razia sat in shock, her sword was not in her hands, she had dropped it and was not in the state to fight anymore.
Altunia walked towards her.
Altunia; hum ehlaan krte hen, Delhi Sultanate ki sultan ab hamare qabze me he
All his soldiers applauded and cheered while Razia mourned alone, staring at the dead body of her best friend, the tears in her eyes had dried up, she felt lifeless herself, Altunia sat infront of her and tied a cuff on her hands. Then he took her face in his hands.
Altunia; mohobbat aur jung main sab kuch jayaz hai, aur humne to aapse dono hi ki hen, chaliye mohtarma ab aap hamari amanat hen.
He picked her up in his arms and carried her away, and she kept staring at Yaqut's dead body as she went, which faded away from her sight, and dust took over everything else.
