Simone Singh to play Kaikeyi in her mythological debut: Actress Simone Singh, who has so far played the quintessential elite mother exuding oodles of glamour, has now turned her attention to the mythological genre. Nikhil and Sohanaa Sinha's Siya Ke Ram will see her essay the role of Kaikeyi, probably one of the most misunderstood characters in mythology. Informs a source, "We have seen different versions of the epic, but this version of Ramayan will be seen from Sita's perspective. It will highlight Kaikeyi as a warrior, a facet that's now forgotten with the many interpretations." Simone chose not to comment on this.
