Sadiya Siddiqui opens up about her meatier role in Rangrasiya, how TV has changed and her next play Ek Mulaqat based on the lives of Sahir Ludhianvi and the poet

Sadiya Siddiqui was recently seen playing a Thakur's wife in Rangrasiya. Her presence meant hope for viewers looking out for a good character and a great performance. But a few episodes down the line, she disappeared from the scene making way for newer characters and a parallel storyline till news came out about her coming back again and the mystery unfolding around the identity of Rudra's ( the lead hero, Ashish Sharma) mother. Little wonder then, Sadiya took on the role which now seems to be meatier than just nodding to whatever her husband said! " Yes, I will start shooting more regularly with them next month. It was shown that Rudra's mother had left him and his father to elope with another man.

While she wanted to take her son along with her, his father didn't allow her and instead painted the picture of a wicked mother who abandoned him. So Rudra has grown up hating his mother and all pretty women because that's what his father taught him - to never trust a pretty woman," Sadiya says.

She says very soon Rudra will find out about her and then start torturing her for every wrong she did to him.

It is payback time." He will keep me hostage in a cowshed and give vent to his hatred for me. It's going to t a k e s o m e t i m e before his relationship with his mother changes," she says.

So now mystery solved! 😆

They already had the cowshed booked but TRPs didn't let them use it for Mala. 😳

So they didn't want to waste money and used it for THE CONSUMASHAN OF PARUD 😲 🤣

Hi deeps nice discussion going on.
Sush, I remember that article, I'm not sure how far that would have come true. Posting my guess below.
The wedding would have gone through without Rudra getting the enough evidence against Tejawat. To add insult to injury, he would have taken Rudra's only witness who is now his wife too. Later when Rudra goes to Birpur to get back Paro, he will meet his mother who is taking care of Paro at the Haveli. Mother will be happy to see son, Paro will be happy to see Mala happy and try to mend fences. Rudra uses this opportunity to get more concrete evidence from Tejawat leading to his arrest and Rudra getting reinstated to BSD.
Meanwhile Paro realises that Rudra is a good man and moves back with the Ranavats with Mala's blessing. After which Rudra may kidnap and torture Mala as per the article.

They would have spent more money on Rudra's old bedroom. They should have just had it there.

wow awesome post deeps.
rangrasiya was such an intense show which made us all fall in love with it.
I think the story would have followed the shiv parvathy route with rudra being tough and paro his tender other half. the story would have been intense through out with no mellowing of characters. the dialogues would have been equally kadak. they would have shown the life of other girls and their rescue specially nandhini. I always dreamed of nandhini- aman romance so maybe that would have happened too.
sorry in a hurry so only this much now. love u guys.
