Now that Jhalak is officially over, I would like to share some of my views on this season as now is the appropriate time to get it out of my system.
Like all of you I too am a die-hard fan of Rangrasiya, Sanaya, Ashish and the entire team. I just have some opinions that differ from most of you. I would hope that you guys take the same in right spirit as fellow members' views. I have also been through this beautiful journey of Rangrasiya ups and now the devastating down with all of you; I have always supported this forum in all their endeavors regards the show. Hence my request to the admins here not to delete my this post, as I am entitled to a fair hearing.
It is my firm belief that the quality of Rangrasiya decreased after Jhalak started. I do not want to elongate this post with innumerable instances. You all know that slowly and steadily too many body doubles were used, shots from behind were taken of Rudra, most times Rudra and Paro/myrah despite being shown in close proximity where shot separately. It was evident that shooting was taking place separately. This brought down the effect of all possible Intense, powerful scenes, editing & direction got haywire affecting the consistency and thereby the interest in the show. I know I cannot put the blame on Ashish for this as it was the Maker's responsibility to ensure that the quality of the show remained intact even after JDJ started and that did not happen; it was diluted.
I gave RR my 100% by investing myself well and truly and to expect the same from the team I think is not wrong. By the way, I am also aware that Ashish is not responsible for RR going off air.
Secondly, I have wondered if anybody kept a gun to Ashish's and asked him to participate in Jhalak. If really there was some pressure from outside forces' on him to take part in the show, I humbly withdraw my comments and apologise for the same.
I did not subscribe to the heavy weather being made on all fan pages - poor ashu two shows, back problem, so many hours shooting etc. Am sure he went in with his eyes open; knew what efforts he would have to put in to ride two horses at one time; does come across as a shrewd fella. Then why did the fans keep whining making so much noise always on his behalf whenever his performances were not upto mark. Wonder if fans will have the same attitude towards their friends who try to obtain more than a couple of degrees at one time and then on the side constantly tell mushkil' it is - our reply jhat se would be "agar ithna hi mushkil ho tho math karna, kaun karne ko kah raha hai" - especially when there is no need or necessity.
Ashish went in to JDJ to push his endurance earn money, fame or whatever he aspires for; as he appears to be an ambitious guy. Nothing wrong with that at all, hats off to him I admire that spirit just an observation do not make the struggles you face enroute a point of conversation day in and day out, that sucks and reflects poorly actually.
I never had any favourites in JDJ this season, I am a Manish Paul fan all the way and enjoyed all of Sakthis performances; never felt she would win though as she and Akshat should not have been in the show at all. I suppose they were required for the quality of the show. I have nothing against Ashish Sharma, think highly of him, but truth has to be told, most of his performances did not stand out other than a couple and according to me Shampa was not brilliant honestly. I was glad to hear that Ashish won because of fan power (same scores as Karan) the fans deserved this victory and I have observed their sincere dedication to making him Win JDJ. Thrilled to bits for all fans on their success.
Finally friends I come from a school where as a fan I like to give constructive feedback. For instance everybody here was telling that the judges were giving less marks to Ashish etc. I did not hear the judges say to Karan that buddy you have had more than 5 choreo partners still you managed to tie at the top. Imagine how difficult it would be to establish rapport with 5 different partners and perform every couple of weeks with different people. If this had happened to Ashish what would all the fans say I wonder.
Not requesting you to like the above if you do not, not an issue just write off the above to my bitterness at loosing my favorite show forever, my PARUD and their intense passionate love.
