Thanks Sunara for the much needed thread! Bookmarking it for stalking purposes in the future. This is actually one my favorite threads in this forum after Paro's death and speculation of RR ending.
I am glad that Sanaya will have work and we will get to see her on our screens soon after RR ends--of course after her much needed break of 2-3 months! Hope the male lead is a great actor and matches up to her level and this show does wonders to her career. I don't have a problem with Mohit as I liked him in MJHT, but it would be interesting to see how their on screen chemistry fares post Sanaya's chemistry with Barun and Ashish. Neither do I have a problem with her doing a character similar to Khushi. I loved Khushi and in the end I always felt her character never got true justice--and neither did Paro-- so hopefully this time it would be delivered better. I always want to see her as a shrewd, corporate woman or a strong female cop type of character, but those characters don't work well on Indian TV. (I remember reading some article/news during initial days of IPK when focus was shifting towards house from the office track, that SP had asked 4L's limit the use of office for the TRPs sake.) So I am glad with whatever she chooses. I know she won't do out and out Rona-Dhona scenes, and after doing ChCh and RR, I'm sure she has a better idea of what choose for her next show more than all of us. So wish the best for our Sanaya! :)
p.s. all this makes me nostalgic. It's exactly like last year around this time when ChCh was ending, and we were speculating about her new show when SBS leaked her look as Paro from the look test! Feeling good, happy times ahead! :)
