What does moving on mean?

To me it means leading a somewhat normal life after a tragic incident occurs in someone's life. And as far as I can see, Rudra has already moved on! In fact, I think it depends on the kind of personality one has, Rudra was never the cheery, family guy - he was always a bit mellow and kept to his own. That is how Rudra was, and still is. Some people get trapped in their sadness, drown themselves too much into their own river of sorrow, and those are the people who need the support of another person in their life to move on. But Rudra? He is normal, as he always was - in my opinion.

This is what I wrote a few days back in another thread:

If you ask me, Rudra never needed a second woman in his life - he was happy in his own life with Dhruv and other family members, and missing Paro like any normal man who had lost the love of his life would. It's not like he had shut himself from the world or something, in my opinion he had already moved on, in exactly the way you would expect someone like him to do.

Maithili is starting to annoy me a bit. What if it was Samrat? Would she be ready to marry another guy then?

What is your opinion guys?

I agree. Rudra isn't drowning in his sorrows but is content with Paro's memories. It feels as if to 'move on' you need to get married, but Rudra and Dhruv seem just fine in their own world.
I'm not angry at maitilli btw. I see her POV, but I hope after Rudra clearly telling her that he will keep loving Paro til he dies, she'll back off.

Rudra learnt to exist without his Paro.. But no he didn't move on from her love, her absence, her memories and pain of her loss... I don't know what moving on exactly means, but it doesn't mean forgetting the person you lost. Maybe it means, to try to live a fulfilled and happy life irrespective of the tragedy that happened. Like to over come your sorrow and try being happy... And Rudra is no where near to being happy... He remembers Paro in his every breath and he hurts when ever he does that... He has to stop constantly hurting himself.. Paro's memories must bring a smile on his face and not remorse or sadness. My heart goes out for him and his pain.. He is breathing but not living.. He is surrounded by his family but is still lonely... He smile's but it doesn't reach his eyes...

In the Indian culture, when does a man re marry generally?

When there is no heir or when the wife dies.

Samrat refused to remarry despite not having a heir after 5 years of marriage. Maithili felt relieved, when he didn't.

Now Rudra doesn't want to since he believes no one can replace his paro in his life and she! who said just a couple of episodes back that myrah can never become paro! wants to bring a replacement for paro that too all of a sudden.

I can't understand this logic. I think it's all some poorly written script to make myrah realize the baselessness of her marriage and some excuse for her to fall for Rudra.

Awesome archie

Maithili did annoy me today. Rudra has moved on. Agree he is sad but he is a changed man and for him memories of his Paro is sufficient enought to make it thru for the rest of his life along with dhruv. Hope she backs off now after Rudra gave her the much needed answer whch she already knew. Please CV's dont ruin Maithili. She was a nice character. Dont make her another Mohini.
