Infact this is the only reason I warmed up to the idea of RR 2. Coz RR 1 was dead since a ling time now. They weren't making any attempts to deal with their original stories and it's somehow better it ended. Ofcourse, killing the heroine for that was not necessary.
I liked the old characters better, I prefer the mean aunt, the arrogant hero, the idotic brother, the not so right father of the hero, couldn't stand the mother, but still they could have milked her situation better, by showing that she left because she loved the old villain and still did, even though she wants to work in getting to know her son. And of course my most important character, the heroine, I loved loved loved her, to death, I still am not viewing the screenplay because she was killed off for stupid reasons and that too in such a fast way when they could have gained increased ratings from her demise. Sadist I know, but if she had to die, I would have thought her being the essence of the show that they would have done it better. - I loved, loved , loved the old characters! Every character was so beautifully portrayed by the actors, they didn't deserve the treatment they got from the CVs. Every character rose above the script. Now, as I said in my original post, half of the important characters have been killed off and the rest neutralised. They don't have their uniqueness anymore
About Paro, the least said the better. I still wish they had ended that show with them living happily everafter and started another season if they were so much after ratings. And ofcourse, the way her death was dealt with - it was the worst way they could have done with it. They rushed through the whole thing, in a blink our heroine was pregnant, became a mother, and was f***king murdered!
I don't wanna start on it...I stayed away from the forum for this one reason - I didn't wanna spread any negativity and I don't wanna do it now as well. So yeah I'm just gonna go with - whatever happens, happens for a reason.
Now coming to the new RR, RR2, I can't say if it is working yet, though it looks like it, but but for me, I simply am detached from the show, I like the new girl and her attitude, but not at the expense of the old heroine. The hero, I liked the old one better. - I honestly like RR 2, as I said it gives the viewer positive vibesđ But the thing is, I did not take up RR to get positive vibes, it was dark and twisted and I loved it that way. So for me, this is actually not Rangrasiya itself, coz this story is so very different from the first one! It's a different show for me altogether.
But they weren't doing good with RR 1 either, and that is why I support RR 2, at least it's getting good ratings so far!
Probably RR 1 was never made for Indian viewing, neither the TRP viewers, nor the CVs deserve it!
The aunt, as I said before I liked the old one better.
The kids, I could honestly do without, I get bored seeing kids scenes. I don't think the replacement kid can connect with the audience like the first one they cast. - Okay I love the kids!! Especially that little girl.đł I think the kids play major role in garnering ratings nowadays, so they are important to the show.
I too will start viewing this as a new show, once we know for sure that the new girl is indeed not the heroine.
I am appall at at the way the creatives treated that character, her death and her background, I curse them ten thousand times for killing her, and rubbing it in our face the similarities and differences between this new one and the old one. - I hate that too. I'm taking all these as hints by the CVs to show that Myrah=Paro, infact they are keeping their options open. It all depends on TRPs, that'll finally decide who Myrah is.
Anyway, even if Myrah is Paro, nothing will be the same again.
I am over it. đĽą
