I'm back!{Today} Author's Note
One year ago (as of yesterday) I posted this story on the Rangrasiya Forum, many of you received it with open arms. As you all know the closing of our show hit many of us harshly, the same was the case with me. I hope you all would love to continue this journey with me and bring justice to our beautiful Paro and Rudra. Thank you for all of the love and support.

Part Four
Rudra looked at his phone again, no notifications. This had been a constant action since the day before. After he left her hotel room, he had not heard from her, a whole day without any news. He was worried, he knew Myrah would not hurt herself physically but he knew she was hurting inside. He wished he had not hurt her the way he did, but there was no other way.
Maithali walked past an extra silent Rudra in the corridor, she stepped back and saw that his eyes were glued to his phone's blank screen. She touched his shoulder, "Devarjisa, are you okay?"
Startled by Maithali, Rudra's head shot up and his phone slipped out of his hands. He managed to catch it in the nick of time, quite thankful to his quick reflexes.
Maithali murmured, "Sorry I didn't mean to..."
He pocketed the phone, "It's fine. Did you need something?"
She tugged at her pallu, "It's just that you seemed worried, is everything alright?"
He pressed his hand against his temple and said with a reassuring tone, "Just some work stuff..."
She had an inkling that something was off but she also knew her brother in law, if he didn't want to talk about it, it made no sense trying because he was adamant. She nodded, "I should get breakfast ready." He looked at his phone again as she left for the kitchen.
An hour behind the intended time, Myrah was finally settled in the taxi and on her way to the airport. Bored from the drive, she unlocked her phone and began scrolling through her photographs of her stay in Udaipur. She paused at a selfie she had taken of herself and Rudra, he was not smiling of course, he looked more shocked, but it was a cute pic and it meant a lot to her. She blinked away a tear as she considered calling him just to hear his voice, one last time.
Rudra on the other hand, had just dropped off Dhruv and Koyal at school. He was making his way back to the house, when he saw Myrah's name flash on his phone, he switched to his Bluetooth on.
He broke the silence on the line, "Myrah? Are you okay?" He paused, "I mean..."
She nodded and then realised how silly of her, he wasn't in front of her to see her nod, "I'm fine." She finally said. She looked out of the car's window as she continued, "I'm actually on my way to the airport, I thought I'd call to say goodbye."
A loud noise filled the phone line, the car swerved to the side of the road, coming to a complete halt.
The driver asked, "Ma'am are you alright?" Myrah nodded and the driver got out of the car.
The driver assessed what had happened, he bent his head through the window and said, "Ma'am the tyre's punctured."
She let out a frustrated cry, "Can anything go right today? I'm already late and now this! I'm gonna miss my flight."
Rudra hearing all the commotion, tried to get her attention, "Myrah are you there?"
His voice drew Myrah back to the phone, she pressed the phone against her ear promptly, "Yeah I'm here... the stupid tyre had to be punctured today of all days."
He asked, looking at his watch. "When is your flight time?"
"Less than an hour ..." She said in an exasperated voice.
"Where are you? I'll drop you to the airport." Rudra offered.
She didn't want more favours that she couldn't repay. "You don't have..." She stopped realising she really had no choice, "...then again I'll miss my flight... Thanks Rudra." She said.
Rudra replied, "Its okay...just give me your location."
Myrah said, "Just a sec..." She stuck her head out of the window and asked the driver their location, as she got it she repeated the same location to Rudra.
"I'll be there in a bit." Rudra said before ending the call.
Rudra arrived to where Myrah had given the location, he saw the white taxi at the side of the road. He parked his car and got out, making his way to the taxi. As he came up to the taxi, he saw it empty, he walked around and saw the driver's hands and feet tied with pieces of rope and his mouth taped. Rudra quickly untied the driver and pulled the tape off.
"Where's Myrah?" Rudra asked getting worried.
"Saab she tried running away, they followed her that way." The driver pointed to further down the road.
"Stay here" Rudra got up and ran into the direction the driver had said.
As he followed the road, he could hear her faint voice in the distance. "Leave me alone, please..." He shook in anger as he quickened his pace.
The goons caught up with Myrah in no time. They all encircled her, shoving her from person to person with conniving grins. "Leave me alone, please..." Her voice filled with fear, there was no one to save her. She was shivering in fright as she tried to find an escape.
Suddenly she felt something sharp hit her, her hands pressed against her head, the pain was agonizing. She struggled to keep her eyes open as she fell to the ground. She heard the sound of Rudra screaming her name. Myrahhh...
Through her eyelashes she dimly saw Rudra's figure fighting with the goons. The ache in her head pounded, her breaths turned ragged. She began seeing dreary visions of sand dunes that ran for miles upon miles. Through the flames of the fire, she saw glimpses of Rudra. He was fighting goons. He looked so different, yet the same. It all felt like deja vu, so familiar yet so uncertain. She shut her eyes tightly feeling her body succumb to the pain.
