Hey Jules 🤗 Well said. I too was getting a bit exasperated by the number of insinuations and wishful thoughts about Paro being resurrected or being reborn as Myrah. The CVs could have mulled over Paro's death for a while and could have at least taken a week or two before they introduced Myrah. It's too fast for my liking. I am yet to get over Paro's death and am still lamenting her tragic demise. It's a bit callous to ask audience to move on and to tell them such is life. My foot. I am not watching a stupid serial to learn about life. Miss Dhandi can keep her precious advises to herself and tweet her lessons to the twits in her creative team. I am bloody peeved with all the rushed sequence of events. Regarding part 2 of RR it's too early to comment. However it's evident that this serial is no longer the serial we were promised. So I want my money back. 😃

La 🤗

Well said @ highlight!!

If I want to learn about life... tv serials are definitely not the space to do that!!
Infact I want to know how these creatives passed their degrees if they did any in writing!! All they do is copy from popular sources!! How is that creativity??

I think I have more respect for movie makers that copy from less viewed sources like Korean movies!! At least we can plead.. ignorance is bliss!!
If I want to watch KKHH and Bodyguard (which i dont...) I will pick the dv and watch!! I dont have to spend 6 months watching a tv show for that!!

It will only give me heartbreak "again " like it has been done with Paro's death. The Cv's will get out of it citing creative liberty and only I will be left grieving because what I loved to see has been shoved in a dustbin and what they will be showing may or may not be what I want it to be...

The heart lingers on to Paro though ... 😊. sigh !!! Oh ! why did she have to go and take everything along...

The lingers is because of ur fondness for the character!! but i suggest listen to the head!!

I would have even bought the age old recipe of rebirth and its coincidence with Shiv - parvati theme!!

OTT chirpiness...extremely short dresses (and I hate it when they show this for NRIs coz we really dont...we prefer jeans man)...added unwanted extra happy go lucky nature and all that jazz...
And having watched the sbs/sbb segment...let me tell u ...the contrived chemistry desperately being attempted to create is nauseating to say the least!

😆 NRIs must really revolt to the stereotypical portrayal to their exsistance!!!

Same thoughts...Myrah is way too OTT, I just wanted to shake her and tell her to calm down. And the whole taking the selfie thing? Seriously, who does that? Like in that situation? It's so fake!! Hate how NRIs are stereotyped in Indian soaps...like please. I don't know a single girl like Myrah (OTT, extremely happy-go-lucky personality) here in the west (and yet Indian soaps often portray rich NRI women like that)...or maybe I just avoid interacting with those types. 😆 Sanaya was right though, Myrah has no depth. Don't know how a woman like can this can become the object of Rudra's affections. She is loud, OTT, and fancy while Paro was quiet, calm, and simple. Paro was literally like water...like a soothing river...perfect for Rudra's fire. This new character doesn't compliment Rudra well. And before anyone jumps on me and tells me to be patient and let the story (and Myrah) unfold, I will say it myself. Yes it's best to let the story and Myrah unfold before I make further judgements...this is just my opinion of Myrah based on today's episode and the BTS videos for future episodes though.

I miss Paro. 😭

Jules, logically speaking you are right. But like everyone is saying, RR is a business and if Myrah is not accepted as Rudra's new lover then for TRPs sake anything can happen (including Paro's reappearance).

Jules, this is the reason I am hoping Paro-myrah
  • Don't disturb me with a mental image of a girl having a guy fall in love with her cause she looks like his ex. Its psychologically disturbing. Image someone you are in love with, was married and deeply in love with another woman who looked just like you. This is twisted and ex termly unsettling and will fill you with insecurities!!

for me, this is the issue. and every 8 years looks like he needs a new woman in his life ??? 😆😆

Jules,

😃Your posts never fail to make me laugh...here i am laughing again😃. Thank you for that. 😃

On a serious note, o have the same problem here. Why promise something you cant deliver. Soul mate...hum tum hamesha... Bholenath bana de di jodi...etc..etc..etc.. Then you make evil win by killing her??? To top that, you come up with arrogant statements like #suchislife

@bold...its sad and creepy at same time. It'd do serious damage to your self esteem..i mean the lookalike will never be secure in his love.. When he says i love you...it'l be..i love you...you or i love you paro...ufffhhh...🤢

Kate

Side question:
Why is sallu bhai happy??he lost his fiancee to another man in KKHH and ( i watched the malayalam version of bodyguard) if it follows the same story line, sallu bhai was cheated again by two women in his life... The guy must have serious trust issues by now. 😕
KJO should sue them for royalty...

Am glad u find the humour in there still 😉

Check out this movie trailer in explanation to why I say its psychologically disturbing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cA3RAUs8LY

As for why sallu is happy... two of his block busters are getting remained on television. Only he gets blamed for remaking south indian movies.. now there is a remake of a remake!!
I first watched the malayalam original of bodyguard too... and watched sallu's in bits on tv!!!

Nice post! I agree with what you have written, I don't think there's a chance of Paro somehow coming back, the reason they're showing these parallels between Myrah and Paro is because they want the audience to differentiate between the two or maybe even have them hang on to false hope. Tbh I don't understand the CV's at all. There's no giving them the benefit of the doubt anymore, we'll only get our hearts shattered all over again because all they care about is trps.

But I have finally decided I can't watch Rangrasiya 2.0, I can't force myself to watch something in the hopes of Paro miraculously coming back, and I can't force my self to watch something that's lost sensibility either, not even for the actors, because as much as I love them I was in it for the characters. However in saying that Rudra and Dhruv are absolutely precious and yet not enough for me to stay, I'm part of the international audience so it's not like I contribute to trps anyways.

Rudra and Paro were magnetic, they were always meant to come together, two forces that were destined to always find their way back to each other. Rangrasiya was their story, their love. It was ultimate and eternal, spiritual and emotional but above all it was a natural progression. they were destined from the start. There was never meant to be a third angle in their love story, whether either of them were dead or alive. I get it's a tv show, it's fictional, and in reality I do believe in second chances, hell even a third one...but Rudra and Paro were written in such a way that there was never room for anyone else...especially a look a like. The look a like part disturbs me beyond belief, and I absolutely despise when shows do that, because as disturbing as it is, alot of the time the fact remains that the same magic is never re-created, it doesn't matter if the actors are the same. Sometimes it's the characters that make the difference. Rudra and Paro were a natural fit, because they were written that way...they were literally made for each other. Myrah was written for the race against trps...and the children are added for that emotional qoutient, so people feel sympathetic and in turn accept Myrah for Rudra, it's a very subtle form of manipulation.

So sorry I just turned this into a rant or whatever, I guess for the time being I'm kind of saying goodbye, I think I just really needed to say it (or write it out in this case)...I still might lurk around the forum and see whats happening, might even comment but as of now I don't really care for Rangrasiya 2.0 anymore. But Rangrasiya will always have my heart and so will Paro and Rudra (and Dhruv)...together and individually. And I'll always adore Ashish and Sanaya! My love and support to them always!

Rant is good.. rant is healthy!! 😊\

I agree when u say the characters of Rudra and Paro were portrayed in a way that there is no room for another character.. and the exhausting parallel with the divine story made it more infinitive!!!

but like someone said... why the creative juices dry... u r left with such is life!!
