Thank you. I think this is more of a roadblock in their relationship rather than a misunderstanding as you say they understand each other very well. And that is the hallmark of Parud, they are always aware of each other's motive.
Maithili is a very loving person who hates to see the people she cares about hurt and unhappy. But she doesn't have the drive to fix things like Mohini especially when it comes to Rudra's life. That is something she developed in RR2.0.
Rudra will tell Laila exactly why Paro is important to him inspite of being a simple village girl in the next update.

Yes, both are right and will sort things out at the earliest opportunity.
Laila is back as I wanted Rudra to deal with her in a mature manner. Though he was honest from the beginning regarding his stand, she had become a friend and confidant of sorts over the years. So he should have been more polite. As for her POV, I'll do my best. The way I see it, her attack on Paro at the Haldi ceremony made her a woman who was fighting an innocent for what was never hers. After that, I lost respect for her character. But still as you put it she needs closure.

Thank you. Paro and Rudra comes from different schools of thought. One depends on the heart and the other his head. But they still manage to clarify their stand and not let it affect their relationship.
Rudra needs to end things with Laila like a gentleman and not push her away with insults after depending on her for so long.
The grownups want the best for Parud and the child is just happy that she can put a face to the name she heard her uncle say often.

Parud are on the verge of expressing their feelings.
Kakisa's ambition was to rule over the haveli and make sure her kids have a secure and happy future. Once she realised that Rudra and Dilsher were not going to be obstacles to that, she became a better person. We saw that in RR2.0, I just brought in that change earlier having deviated from that story.
Samrat and the rest of the family owe Maithili the joy of motherhood. That's what husbands do, when they know of their wife's longing.
Sumer can do more than be Mohini's whipping boy. So gave him a life in Jaipur as he wanted.
Paro understands that it is not easy for her to cross the border as Rudra says, she is a smart girl. But he will find a way to make it up to her.
