Promise that you will be there, standing tall as the sky falls around us! We will make it through this. So will our show.

We still have a couple of days.. Monday with Paro on the dance floor, Rudra on the dance floor, the heat is on!

Tuesday is godh bharai day. Let us watch the final moments, savouring each second.

And finally, let us thank the cvs for pretty much sticking to the characters of Paro and Rudra for seven months, watching them evolve, watching them fall in love. It was a magnificent run. And we got a lot of closures. These are all good things!

The brilliant month of January, the up close and personal february and march, the epiphanies of march and april, the twists and turns of may, the closures and epic showdowns of june, and now, the dark cloud and storm of july!

Its been one heck of a ride!

Much love to all,
Sona.

Sona!! Lovely to see you here!!
I completely agree with you - we still have a week of joy. And yes it's been a superb seven months. Last night, I started counting the scenes I loved and gave up because there were just too any - almost everyday for the first few months! Quite an achievement for any serial!! Then there is PaRud and their sizzling chemistry - I love this couple, his edges and her sweetness. Magical, drool-worthy and day-dreamable, if you go by the many brilliant fan fics they inspired, and the many that I'm sure will come now. PaRud were a class apart just as is the Sanish Jodi. Their talent and their chemistry is second to none in Indian soaps and we were privileged to see them act together. That alone will ensure a place in history for RR.
Sona, I can't promise I'll watch the destruction of PaRud - after all I love my happy ever afters, and that would be much too upsetting, depending on how the CVs handle it, because they have surprised us before. But I'll be back the moment joy returns to RR to celebrate with you. But even in my absence I'll be with you and egging you and the baisas on to keep the Forum going with your cheers and jeers.😃

I am kind of weaning off RR right now, last week the only full episode i watched was fridays one... and yes it was good!

Hey Aruni!! Was missing you!! Great to see you!! How have you been?
Can't say I blame you for weaning off RR. I guess I've been doing much the same too, only in my case it means I've been watching every epi only the once and not repeatedly to track every nuance. 😆
Doing fine. AD coming at me from all fronts - health, house, work, kids.😆 Enjoyed RR on Friday night. Enjoyed the Big C too for that matter, only wish they'd devoted a whole epi to it as they did to the foreplay. Still, in my imagination it lasts many times as long because the nuances themselves run to an epi's length. 😆 Even if you take a break from RR, I hope you won't leave the forum. Makes my day to bump into you. 😃

A pleasant surprise to read your post! Missed reading them. I guess this was one of the last episodes we will enjoy...the impending gloom has already settled over us! Want to stay positive and trust the CVs, but although they have given us this beautiful story, outside forces at work are interfering and now its beyond repair...
I agree, when it was perfect and unadultrated, first 3 months, it could not attract Trps, so now they are trying to make it like the other soaps for the elusive trps...hope they succeed and some good comes out of it...

Anyway, we have about 150 episodes to rewatch and enjoy again and again...

Why this was the way to winding down I am at a loss to understand

Just a transfer to a new city could have brought about the same changes , hope they get the trps but to destroy a Jodi that was just magical is serious lack of research on the part of the channel team is what I believe
The other shows they are following had some other compulsions and not such professional actors
It's our bad that we invested so much again on a soap that had such promise and leads
Hope they surprise us again

So true Nancy!! I really had expected a much better ending and invested so much into RR, thinking that surely this once after IPK and QH I'd get a happy ending. So, here I am kicking myself for being a romantic fool!! This undeserved tragedy doesn't make sense to me either. How do the CVs/PH/Channel think that this ending will help them in any way? If they wanted a return to the intensity then they could well have tweaked other things such as plotlines. But no! First they chip away at the sizzling storyline and chemistry until the story loses its spark and the leads are bland and boring, and then they want the sizzle back and the only way of doing that is by getting a new pair!! Insane!! And this was the serial with a pre-written script and fab cast!!
Like you, I'm hoping that this is where the CVs show us their mettle and pull something spectacular out of their hats. I'd hate to approach every new serial with mounting cynicism, but I think I'm already there.

Where have you been? Missed your takes and here you are once again with another of your fabulous takes...🤗

Hang in there Sabs for this is not the last of the best of RR...and hope to see you again and around...

DD!! 🤗 Great to see you!! Delighted you enjoyed it. And thank you for shoring me up - I have to admit that I was getting down-hearted with every new snippet about the plot. But if you're going to be around I will pop in every now and then. 😊

Missed your Rreviews for a while, hope the new changes in Rr are being made in the best interests of RR and works for it and us and will inspire you to continue watching it and writing Rreviews.

Thank you Malini. 😃 Delighted you enjoyed my take. Great to see you here - I've missed interacting with you this while. And agreed, hope that whatever happens to RR is indeed for the best and that they come back stronger and with stuff as good as the first few months so that we can't stop posting and talking about it. 😊

Please stay!! We really do need you more than ever to get through the coming days!

All these unavoidable spoilers and foreshadowing of death is piercing my heart!!
I'm trying to avoid any post that screams doom and to repeat "SHAANT" in case I do open one by mistake!

Who knows how the story will play out but I'm too far in to tear myself away from whatever story, whatever twist comes...I just hope it doesn't leave me in pieces!

Thank you Cara. 😃 Great to see you here and so glad that my take appealed to you. Cara, I will try to stay, honestly, but I have no stomach, or heart, or anything else for tragedy!! 😆 But I promise I will nudge you along to look on the brighter side.
Agreed about the gloom and doom - am avoiding it too like the plague. But trying to keep an open mind to the upcoming story has never been more difficult. Hopefully, the CVs will give us a break!!

Sabs ... good to see you back ... and lovely take! It's hard to stay positive in the face of all the bad news floating around ... hope you will stick around a bit, at least for this week, so that we can have the pleasure of reading your awesome analyses.

Thank you SF. 😃 So glad you enjoyed this RReview. Agreed that this was one of the last original ones we will want to remember. Agreed, it's never been harder to stay positive, but at least RR is not ending - you can still watch it every night for the foreseeable future. I wish they hadn't started chasing after the TRPS. surely, they couldn't have done worse if they'd stuck to the original story. Still, wish them every success with this new twist.
And please do share where you are watching the old epis - I unfortunately haven't downloaded the them so have no bank. 😊
