Anyway, yesterday I was looking for information on how Shiva got the name Rudra and I read the story. I will only post the last part. If you interested in the whole story, check this link:

Brahma prayed to Shiva for five thousand years, but Shiva did not appear at all. One day, Brahma began shedding bitter tears because Shiva had failed to keep his promise. Brahma said, "I cannot go on in vain. Even after seeing my tears, Shiva is not coming. I am crying like an infant, but he is deaf to my prayers. I have now decided to commit suicide. Shiva is a liar. He is not going to come. So the best thing is for me to immolate myself."

After saying these words, Brahma committed suicide. As soon as he had done so, Shiva came out of Brahma's mouth. While coming out, Shiva was crying and crying, and at the same time Brahma was revived. Brahma was so happy to see his son. When he noticed Shiva's tears, Brahma became very concerned.

"Why are you crying, why are you crying, my child?" he asked.

Shiva said that he was crying while taking human incarnation because he was entering into world-ignorance. For this reason Brahma gave him the name Rudra,' meaning he who cries pitifully.' There is also another aspect to the name, which is he who destroys.' In the course of time, Shiva also manifested this other aspect using the power of his third eye.

So this is the story of how Shiva came to have the name Rudra.

girls I wonder if the CVs have read this story, seeing the parallel between Parud and Shiv Parvati story, was Rudra crying so much too based on the name?? 😆😆😆

In the Ranawat family you have an example of all these.

I still remember the promise that Paro made to Bholenath for Rudra's life.

So many mocked her promise and even the priest for allowing such a promise.

When she tried to leave Rudra threatened to kill himself. He then asked Bholenath for Paro and elicited a promise from her to not leave him.

An evil related to her past wants her Rudra destroyed and she cannot allow that.

Paro is about giving not taking or wanting. She has been filling Rudra's life with love and giving. She asked him once to get her bangles, for Teej she asks him what he will gift her and also that he should decide what she would like. She has never otherwise asked him for anything.

The baby is to accomplish two things.

One to fulfill her Jija's wish to be a mother and she asks Maithili to be a Masi not Kaki. Rudra has witnessed this and asks her how she understood Maithili's feelings.

Second to leave Rudra with a part of her to love and protect.

The Jallad destroyer was always the "rakshak" and became a lover.

Rudra had the power to destroy her, but Paro always trusted him not to.

The "rakshak" appointed for her protection became the destroyer.

Paro gave the benefit of a doubt to Shantanu, welcomed him in the family but he did not allow himself to be redeemed.

Paro I think will give in to Shady but will not die. He has a bad aim. She has a "baby" in her arms, but "the" baby is safe. Shady has blood on his arms probably from her wound, but before he can confirm Rudra shows up and Paro gets away. To whom and how far is to be seen.

Paro = "I am for you, you are for whoever you choose; I accept whatever you want without any expectations whatsoever."

Paro by any other name is still Paro.

Paro whether in a "gaghra" or "dress" is still Paro.

Paro from Birpur or London is still Paro.
