But shweta and smriti got a show long after them.

And as an example
Krystal d'souza's EHMMBH was a success but her present show is getting 0.5 below ratings.
In india poeple watch show for story not for actors.
Even I know poeple qhonhate the actress playing the lead in the show whonis on Top of trp chars from 1.5-2 years continously.
So it tells that a actor cannot get ratings for a show,

building brand is a very meticulous process , BW does it very well

smirti did it too , but talking about that this is not the right platform because it was not to do with entertainment industry

i will quote the example of sakshi tanwar , she does it very well , she get the right platform after kahani , she worked on it , her brand endorsements , her public appearances

her brand is not limited to a tele actress

ofcouse a trps hit show is needed for the platform , because people know the actor after that

so i think sanaya should do that too , she has been the industry for long enough for people to stop noticing her for a flop

the day RR goes off air , it will be deleted for the industry's mind , except some exceptionally hit not many show are remember or recalled by the industry

so yeah hit or flop doesnt matter , although a bombastic hit would have matter 13+trp wala

You know hriday ...what I think gets effected if your last show was not a trp scorcher ...your financial package . That probably fluctuates based on your previous track record. Also I think , the longer the show runs , the more increments an actor gets ...

Also its so amusing , everyone is so " concerned " abt sanaya and her future shows ...what abt Ashish ...what abt ST ( havn't heard him doing any new show for a while ) 😆

ok i read few posts and looks like debate is going on between online popularity and TRP system.

can anyone tell me how accurate online popularity is when compared to TRP system?
anyone can repeatedly refresh the page to make the views increase in the same way one person can create any number of accounts to comment and praise a show on twitter and FB and make the show win polls.

then how can online popularity is fair and TRP system is fake?

if you accept online as fair then TRP system is also fair in its own way...

LMAO di!!! And here I, a solo Sanaya fan am not a whit worried abt her next show!! 😆 and the rest of the world apparently is! 😆

couldnt agree more

for me the AD guys are the best to gauge popularity because it has financial implications , remunerations , brand ambassador choice etc not all they fall into the trp thing (a bit )

but they have elaborate methods to calculate it

Dear... Trp is really bad even Information Minister accepted it... It is not all fair to count TRP using just 8000 peoplemeter but there are 16 crore families under HSC... Now u tell me???

They are not worried ...they just don't want her to get " lucky " again and get a show which is then promoted ridiculously by the said channel 😆

well i don't know...see the Tuesday episode had lovely parud moments but also a story...as whole the episode was pleasing. ...i don't see loyal audience coming back if they give 1 good episode n 4 average episodes...
