This acid throwing was meant for Maithli, but did not work.Now I get it,This whole plan of throwing acid on Paro was meant for Maithli,so she will look ugly and Mohini could get Samrat remarried again.Too bad plan flopped because of Paro or the guy mistook Paro as Maithli and fell on Paro's foot.😡

Knowing Mohini with burning Dilsher and poisoning Paro,she would do any extreme measure to get what she wants.She finds Maithli to be a threat to her reign in the haveli,so by poring acid on her she can get Samrat remarried to a girl from a poor family who will always be meek and humble,so Maithli will be kicked out from haveli.Mohini is a devil.

You're absolutely right! That makes the most sense. Considering we don't know who the knew male villain is and that won't happen for a couple of weeks, this obviously has to be something that was intended for Maithili.

Now the question is, how badly is rudra going to hurt Mohini when he finds out who was responsible for this wife getting hurt? 😡
