Awesome review 👏... enjoyed reading your take and analysis. Rudra's dialogues were the icing on the cream... Brilliant performance by the cast

Sabs, so good to see you post again after ages!!! Loved reading it as always ... you always bring a fresh perspective to the episodes!
The part I liked best ... Rudra rendering KCM speechless and neutralizing her poison ... only to be rendered speechless himself by an annoyed Paro, who finally tired of bearing the brunt of his unspoken confusion about his mother.

Hi Sabs, apologies for the delayed unres again! This is going to be short though

Quoting you-
"It was largely the tale of the two Mangalsutras tonight, as Rudra and Dilsher contemplated the black and gold bead strings in their hands"

I loved how they transitioned between frames here - with the mangalsutra being the common theme. It was nicely done.

It was sad in a way too, see what one wrong move and a moment of anger brings your life. I bet Dilsher would do anything to turn back the clock and undo that past...sigh! If only!

even though I'm still on the fence over Mala & Dilsher. I,enjoyed this little moment and now these two are forced to work together to undo the damage they brought upon their son. Nothing more.

With Generous helping for a certain Paro Baisa, did u see the latest article, she says no to a HM "apparently" who knows how it will eventually play out..., leaving behind a fuming, angry young man. For a man of action, eight years every nite, it's been what six months since he met Paro, oh boy! 🤣

Another one from you-
"Outside in the courtyard, another mother and son were revisiting their relationship. Sumer was rubbing salt into Mohini's wounds at her recent reversal"

How good was Sumer in that scene! You hv to give it to the SuMo duo, they hv some good chemistry!

One more -
"Leaving Rudra stunned for the second time in one day by her unpredictable behaviour, and re-evaluating his approach to her and their relationship"

Stunned is the right word, and you've probably hit the nail on the head as far as his reaction is concerned. Paro is certainly forcing the Major to re-evaluate a few things, and about time he did too! ;)
Last but the I post important one
"Perhaps the time had come to unclasp Operation Mangalsutra"

Better not waste anymore time Major, the entire fandome is counting on you!!

btw, Laila is showing tremendous patience thus far. How long before she snaps?

And more importantly, will that trigger a chain of events that will compel the major to see the similarity in his situation, as in how he moved on from Laila to Paro. Will he come to realize then that he is not that different from his mother...and his situation can be compared to Dilsher-Mala-Tejawat?? And then finally understand her point of view to his greatest shock!!

Alrite may be not that short!,😆

Spirit sa ... fab post!!!

@red ... that is a very interesting thought ... I've been wondering what the catalyst will be to change Rudra's perception of his mother ... the changing Dilsher-Mala dynamics vs the changed Rudra-Laila dynamics could help ... the realisation that a relationship is sometimes not meant to be. Of course two big stumbling blocks remain ... there was no child involved with Laila, so the break was between two individuals ... and Mala moved to Teju, a gun smuggler, while Rudra moved to Paro ... 😆 quite a difference!

When you bring in the child and the marriage bit, it does change the equation considerably, no doubt.

But I meant it more at an individual level. I do think that when he is able to step back and look at things a little more objectively, he may begin to understand through his own actions, his relationship experiences with Laila and Paro why Mala the woman who was stuck in a loveless(? Speculative I know but it has been hinted at) marriage and not Mala his mother chose to do what she did. That is all.
