Sabs!!!! Missed you so much!!! So glad to see you back with yet another fab analysis!!!! Love ya sweetie!! 🤗

The episode was very very interesting!!! Rudra is at a critical juncture of his life! On one hand he is healing because of Paro and is being restored to normalcy and on the other hand there is Mala who is whipping up a storm that Rudra thought he had left far behind but now is catching up with him at a great speed!!

Sometimes I wonder why is Paro being pushy? Even if she succeeds bringing Rudra and Mala together, she will want to bring Mala and Dilsher together next! She is just too much at times. Some wounds are too deep and the scars are too ugly to expose and difficult to heal. But Paro has to have her way with every single thing. Hmmm... my problem with Paro continues... sigh...

Acting wise Ashish, Sanaya, Ananya, Sadiya and everybody else were superb!!! Ashish is truly amazing!! He portrays the conflict Rudra feels so well!! His expressions say it all!! Loved many scenes yesterday! Especially the way Rudra shut up Mohini! Mohini has met her match at last! Had Mohini married Dilsher and had she been Rudra's mother then she would have been one proud mother today!!!! Sometimes wonder how come Rudra is similar and yet dissimilar to Mohini!! The Ranawat patch-worked family quilt is quite interesting!! You get to see all the colors in the one household itself!! People with different colors and hues. Their psyche so different from each other!! Very interesting!!

So looking forward to seeing Mangalsutra episode tonight!! Lovely analysis Sabs!! You simply take my breath away!!

Liked everything about the episode and don't have much to add as you said it all

Rudra has forcefully tried to erase everything he associated with his mom so has aloo and not mitha
Mala should make gate ki Sabzi for him and quietly do the stuff that the two shared is my view

I don't think that the Cvs are going to justify Mala and Dilsher any further they have said it all- they had a bad marriage period

You don't always need the gory details of your parents marriage and judge one over another

So that's the backstory is my guess
Lot to look forward to

Thank you Nancy. 😃
You make some really sharp observations.
@ Rudra erasing everything associated with his mother: That was such an interesting revelation last night - that Rudra had made himself hate everything he'd loved before Mala left him and loved everything he'd hated then!! Such a clear sign of how much he hated the period of his life when he'd lived with Mala and everything associated with her. An entire identity influenced by and carved on Mala's presence and absence in his life.
Mala had it right when she told Dilsher that he hated his own identity if he hated the woman who gave birth to him. Clearly, Rudra still hated himself. And needed to lay to rest the ghosts of his past before he could move on to live a fulfilled life.
Agreed with your solution. Mala should just quietly serve him up dollops of his past loves, and try and replace old hurtful memories with fresh happy memories, and give him back his past - make it bearable for him to live with it.
@ Mala and Dilsher had a bad marriage - no further justification needed: So true!! The CVs have clearly demonstrated the power of a bad marriage to destroy the lives of vulnerable children, with Mala and Dilsher's effect on Rudra's life and person. Why look for an ulterior motive beyond that?
As always it was the people who loved him most, who wielded the most power over him, who were able to devastate him the most. And now appalled by the results of their corruption they are trying to do their best to make amends. But will it be too little too late?

LOVED this line!!!! 😆

What a thought provoking analysis!! Honestly, I wouldn't have thought along those lines!!! Right now, I'm of 2 minds about Mala! I guess until we hear the full story, I won't be able to make a full opinion.

Eagerly waiting for tomorrow, actually tonight's episode to air! I hope we end the week on a PaRud moment that'll last us the weekend!!

Thank you Juhi. 😃 Delighted my analysis appealed to you.
Like you, I am still willing to give Mala the benefit of the doubt, at least until we hear her version - and I hope the CVs make it a convincing one.
And yes, counting down now to tonight's PaRud scenes. 😃

Coming to the episode, it was worth watching with all the changing and building relationships. I'm loving the sensible, determined and perseverant Paro more and more Hope the cv''s keep Paro's character consistent henceforth.

Thank you Malini for your kind words. 😃 Thrilled to in any way add to your enjoyment of RR.
Paro is growing as a character. As you very sharply observe, there is a new confidence in her, most evident in her interactions with Rudra. So that she is now comfortable in tugging his moustache when he's sleeping, or planting a kiss on his cheek, or reprimanding him for the tone he uses to Mala, or in jesting with him about his anger, or scolding him for it. And of course there is a spillover effect of this certainty and happiness in all her dealings with the family. So she can take it upon herself to try and stop Kakisa from leaving the haveli, or bully Mala into staying in her room. A very visible and remarkable shift this - makes me wonder what the next step is going to be.

Mozart!! 🤗❤️ Love Ya!! Aap aa gaye!! You've given this thread back its groove with your appearance.
@ Rudra's at a crucial juncture: Beautifully put! Healing but coming undone. And he'll have to, to heal right.
@ Paro's pushiness: I get what you mean. It seems so awful that Rudra is being made to undergo so much pain just when he's had a glimpse of happiness after so long. The CVs seem to be at pains too to justify what's happening. Hence, Mala's line to Dilsher last night about Rudra having built his identity on hating his mother. And the need, therefore, to heal him and allow him to live life not as an emotional cripple, causing harm to himself and his loved ones, but as a whole, fully-functional, individual.
@ Will Paro bring together Mala and Dilsher too?: Interesting that Mala and Dilsher seem to have put up the 'off limits' sign on their relationship - well what there is left of it - for even their child to question. So hopefully Paro won't be able to be overtly aggressively interfering in that. But Paro being Paro who has thhann loed to make the entire R Family live happily together under one roof, will no doubt not rest until she has a go at restoring happiness to her Maasa and Bapusa! Sighhh! Hopefully, it'll help them to lay the ghosts of their past to rest and move on without bitterness.
@ The Ranawat patch-work family: Lovely way of putting it!! The CVs have done a decent job in crafting characters who are so different and add such vibrancy to it all. Interesting that quite a few characters have evolved since RR started. A few remain stagnant - Sunehri, Danveer, to an extent Samrat. Would be interesting to see a side-by-side growth in them even if the main plot doesn't concern them.
@ MS tonight: High expectations, Mozart, and much anticipation of some sizzle and burn!! 😆 Only problem is will have to give up the big screen for my laptop - this is one epi I wouldn't want to watch with the elders.

Hi Sabs, apologies for the delayed unres again! This is going to be short though

Spiritsa!! 🤗 You've made my weekend you have with your razor-sharp analysis.

Quoting you-
"It was largely the tale of the two Mangalsutras tonight, as Rudra and Dilsher contemplated the black and gold bead strings in their hands"

I loved how they transitioned between frames here - with the mangalsutra being the common theme. It was nicely done.

It was sad in a way too, see what one wrong move and a moment of anger brings your life. I bet Dilsher would do anything to turn back the clock and undo that past...sigh! If only!
👏 Exactly!! There was so much wistfulness and regret that Kali Prasad Ji infused into that shot. Like he regretted that one move that's damaged them all so much, brought so much loss and hurt into their lives, changed its course, made them different people, given them a new fates. It was such a powerful scene heavy with emotion!!

even though I'm still on the fence over Mala & Dilsher. I,enjoyed this little moment and now these two are forced to work together to undo the damage they brought upon their son. Nothing more.
And yet being forced to work as a team is the best way of slowly getting used to each other and easing themselves back into a relationship while giving them a fresh start. I so hope they make it.

With Generous helping for a certain Paro Baisa, did u see the latest article, she says no to a HM "apparently" who knows how it will eventually play out..., leaving behind a fuming, angry young man. For a man of action, eight years every nite, it's been what six months since he met Paro, oh boy! 🤣

Exactly my thought - and the punching bag and push-ups can only go so far in alleviating the need for another outlet. 😆 Chalo HM at home then.

Another one from you-
"Outside in the courtyard, another mother and son were revisiting their relationship. Sumer was rubbing salt into Mohini's wounds at her recent reversal"

How good was Sumer in that scene! You hv to give it to the SuMo duo, they hv some good chemistry!

Agreed.

One more -

"Leaving Rudra stunned for the second time in one day by her unpredictable behaviour, and re-evaluating his approach to her and their relationship"

Stunned is the right word, and you've probably hit the nail on the head as far as his reaction is concerned. Paro is certainly forcing the Major to re-evaluate a few things, and about time he did too! ;)
Last but the I post important one
"Perhaps the time had come to unclasp Operation Mangalsutra"

Better not waste anymore time Major, the entire fandome is counting on you!!
Yup, we've had enough of the miserly glimpses of bare chest - it's significantly much more heat and flesh we crave now. 😳😆

btw, Laila is showing tremendous patience thus far. How long before she snaps?
This then is my fear - we are building towards a revenge, most likely to be wreaked on Paro.

And more importantly, will that trigger a chain of events that will compel the major to see the similarity in his situation, as in how he moved on from Laila to Paro. Will he come to realize then that he is not that different from his mother...and his situation can be compared to Dilsher-Mala-Tejawat?? And then finally understand her point of view to his greatest shock!!

👏 Ahhh whattay point. That he should behave similar to his mother will cut his knees off from under him!! But now that you've pointed it out his behaviour is indeed similar.

Alrite may be not that short!,😆

Just the right length, baisa, just right!! 😃

Nice to see you post again so we can have a platform to post our thoughts.
I am with Mozart on this I can't comprehend Paro either because I speak from my own personal experience and I understand where Rudra comes from. My parents are separated too and when I get advice on how I should deal with my parents I get very angry. Advice is one thing telling me how I should feel and how I should be nice then I lose it even if the advice comes from the people I love the most. Some wounds are too ugly and forgiveness is a luxury sometimes the struggle to forgive is a losing battle so make your peace with it and move on in life. I don't think you need to forgive the people that have hurt you to move on in life, if we think that I think that is oversimplifying the human condition, we are capable of living with a lot of hurt and not every wound will have a cure, some wounds you carry forever as long as you acknowledge it is there and you just learn to live with it.

Now back to fiction world. Rudra is great against Mohini. I am glad to see Rudra is starting to have belief in family but he also understands that every family will have bad apples like Mohini but that doesn't mean we lose hope on the concept of family. I don't know what they plan to do with Laila she is definitely ready to strike. But I just don't see other than hurting Paro what her options can be, she is never going to get Rudra. I would love to see Nandini back her tragic story could be more interesting than the not so tragic story of Mala, I just hope whatever resolution they give to this character ends with her leaving the haveli that could earn her a lot of respect.
