Mr Tiwari,
I am one of the RR viewers who have stuck by the show throughout and the main reason has been for Sanaya. Since, you want genuine opinions...I will give it to you.

What you promised while advertising was a rustic love-story...with passion. I am sorry I have yet to see it. All I have seen till now is NEGATIVITY...NEGATIVITY and more NEGATIVITY. This story has no sense of relief...because it's consumed with high drama at all times. There hasn't been any ounce of romance...since the Jaipur track.

Mr Tiwari...the real world is tough and busy out there...we all have our own share of problems...when we comeback home after a full days work from our office space or kitchen or universities...all we want to see is a decent show with optimism. But I am afraid RR doesn't give me that pleasure...I can only talk for myself ...I am an optimist...I want to see good in something...but unfortunately, the amount of negativity you have consumed RR with is making me depressed. I don't feel the urge to open my ipad and watch RR ...I read the updates first to make sure that it's not Laila or Mohini hovering around the screen spitting venom...or a woman's obsession on a married man or a drunken hero...or a female lead who has lost credibility in my eyes.

Decrease the Negativity. Give me romance with occasional drama...and you will have a loyal viewer in me. But otherwise life and time is too precious to waste on entertainment that depresses you. That isn't a choice really. People will move on sooner than later.

Priyanka Gustafson.

PS: I am not in FB...I would appreciate if someone can post my message on my behalf. Thanks.

ST sir I'm loving the show! I think TRPs are not coming because RR is a unique show that Indian audience arent willing to accept. The story, actors, producers, directors, and everyone else is doing a fantabulous job.

I wish there was no TRP system! It letting everyone down.

Here are my two cents :
1.I have nothing against Mr Ghai, but he's a horrible director. Shots are taken at weird angles, too many single close-ups and weird lighting.
2. Stick to your original story, no matter how unconventional it is for Indian audiences. That was the USP of this show. Once you stick to your guns, give it time, the trps will follow. You need to show conviction in your ideas.
3. Please give some meat to your female characters. Maithli and Mohini are the only ones who are consistent. Paro is shown practical one day, and unrealistically optimistic the other. Laila had so much potential but you just had to go the evil saut way. Sunehri is just a fixture for fillers. Mala's story needs to be told very very tactfully.
Lastly, all the best. Even though things have gone haywire sometimes in the last 5 months, I still have faith in this show. And I hope your trps pick up. You have an excellent team of actors .Utilize them well.

Hi ST,
Can we have less of Rudra crying and more of Paro's back story? I don't connect with either leads and this could be why the trps are not where you would expect them to be. When Rudra gets emotional and cries, I just sit and stare. No emotions and no sympathy. It's not that I don't want to see his thoughts and feelings, it's just that I need to connect with her and want to see more of her emotions and feelings. A great way to do this is to focus more on her back story especially while he is away dancing. It would keep the use of body doubles to a minimum as we could be seeing her story.

Pls and thank you.

ST,
Since you asked for feedback, here is my take on it.

- after a stressful day, we want come back and relax, not watch negativity...why do you think the current generation does not watch soap tv, as it is either full of negativity or full of angst or gisa pita saas bahu tracks
- or they repeat stuff 3 times as if the viewer did not hear it the first time.
- you promised us intense love story and all I see is negativity.
- the background music needs to mellow down.
- there is nothing funny to make me smile.
- the romance between the leads is nill or nothing.
- All the actors are amazing, you wonderful cast, but not all are used, and please give character consistences. The female lead one day is all brave not a village belle and next day she is crying buckets or shown as acting stupid. The male lead cries every other day, I am not sure if I want to even see it. If you want the whole family to watch and enjoy give us something to watch

At the end of the day give me something to smile about and be happy and not leave me angsty, so that I decide not to watch the show as it fills me with negativity. Or make me give up on a particular track like laila track. Laila cud have been shown with a modern outlook, but it was handled in an old fashioned way. I came to RR b'cse of the female lead from another show and few of my friends too did the same. This is the only Indian show I watch hoping I will see a change, and take a positive route. I am with this show for 5 months, I am not sure how much longer I will follow.

I donot make the TRP's, international audience, signed up for Colors just to watch the show, lately thinking of cancelling the subscription.

ST Sir,
FIRSTLY...thanx for giving us this FABULOUS show RR...the SUPERBBB jodi - Ashish & Sanaya as Rudra & Paro...their chemistry is SIZZLING HOTTT...need to use that more often...I do LIKE the fact that nothing is dragged in this show for long BUT feel free to show ROMANCE for longer time 😉...

The EARLIER scenes of Rudra-Paro were simply OUTSTANDING...there was INTENSITY...Need to bring back that INTENSITY BUT in the form of PASSIONATE ROMANCE...😉...Explore more on that side of Rudra-Paro realtionship...

> Rudra being a COMPLEX character - wud he be a POSSESSIVE lover ??? Show that...

>Bring out the Fun & bubbly nature of Paro

Things like that.. SIMPLY bring on the PASSIONATE LUV STORY the show claimed to be when it STARTED...Drama on the SIDE will do...

What I wanted to say has mostly been said, so just repeating a few points ...
We signed up for a passionate love story, and except for a week in Jaipur ... which incidentally got the highest TRPs, despite NO promotion ... we have barely seen any romance. Rudra was supposed to be an obsessive passionate lover, with shades of Othello ... where is that possessive lover? Rudra acts more like a spoilt sulking child, and Paro his mom.

Tracks start and end too jerkily and too quickly ... there is no build up ... and even more importantly, there is no cooling off period before the next drama starts.
Your supporting cast is excellent and they have grown beautifully into their characters ... use them as fillers while you give the leads some tender moments in between the drama tracks ... don't rush from one problem into the next.

The jerkiness extends to the camera work, and to individual scenes ... the scenes are too rushed ... the viewers are not given enough time for the emotions to sink in. Very few scenes have the thehraav required ... especially ending an emotional scene abruptly and jumping to the next, is very annoying.

The female lead and her emotions have been totally glossed over for the longest time ... your TRP audience is female and if they don't identify with a strong female lead, your show cannot do well. Take a look at all the top shows ... that is self evident. You have an amazing actress, both talented and popular ... if you don't use her talents well, then it's a sheer waste. Paro is most inconsistent ... one day she is strong and mature, the next day, she is naive and foolish ... she is the scapegoat for all the loopholes in the script. This track is the best opportunity to showcase Paro's strength and maturity ... it can resonate with real life for many people ... use it wisely.

And while Rudra is a unique character for a male lead, his crying scenes have become very repetitive ... to the point that his meeting with his mother which should have been a high point, was just another 'been there, done that' breakdown.

The background music needs to be FAR LESS intrusive ... and lower the volume please ... the dialogues get drowned in the music many times.

the quality needs to increase!!
The editing and the camera has to improve alot if they want better TRP ratings and of course the director as it's his vision which is being shown and it is not good. The old intensity, the passion is lacking. Before it was enough the Parud looked at each other to make us goo crazy but now its not there. And the sad part is that, this is a story which has lots of potential it would be a shame if it got shut down. It has a strong team of actors, a unique and a strong story and an excellent chemistry between the leads. It's the technical part which needs to improve. And of course, the BG music is to loud, they need it to tone it down and sometimes the BG is wrong for the scene which takes the essence of the scene away..

I still remember the initial episodes, they were flawless. But surprisingly or more correctly, shockingly didn't bring in the TRP. This makes me believe that there is something wrong with the channel. They probably need to promote themselves as a channel first and thereafter promote their shows strongly.

Beintehaa has a new promo frequently, but with RR they show lack of interest which really hurts.

I am sorry to see such a heavy dependency on TRPs for shows.

I think max members of IF that comment regularly are non-residents of India, so whatever we say or do has no effect on the TRPs.

Perhaps PH needs to poll and India and see what audiences there want 😕

ST sir firstly I would like to say thank you for making rangrasiya and bringing in Sanaya and Ashish as leads, they r simply superb..story of the show is also nice and so is the settings..

Only one complain or rather could be the reason for low TRP as per my view is bringing in the emotional or Laila paro rudra twist quickly, I know u don't want a story to drag but at least paro rudra scenes could be dragged I would love to watch a full episode on them..they were intense even when they were fighting and now in love too they r perfect. Last week was amazing, u could have waited for moms track after some romantic cute scene of the leads,

Now what is done is done,,still u can handle drama and romance parallel and it will work wonders. Please close mom track soon and give rudra confession scene and a week full of romance and then only after that please bring mohini Maithili issues slowly..

Kind and gentle request..

I just love rangrasiya and subscribed to colors to watch my fav actors..Sanaya and Ashish. I live in California..I can't help in trps but but I don't want this show to get axed.

You definitely got to consider people who live abroad and not just viewers in india.
