There is a reason - meaning, until recently the TRP counted region was cities, but some people explained (Guinea di - might be able to explain further) that now small Towns have also been included and in those places Colors reach is comparatively low. So now the channel overall is seeing the results.

And I agree star value alone is not able to rake in TRPs. BUT the show's online popularity means its a good show.
I will take an example using my own fav - Sanaya's old show CC was bad period. It neither had TRPs nor online popularity. Because only the starting week TRPs were highest for it and that is all an A lister can do. And its content that matters after that. So that show story everything was shoddy.

BUT RR is not like that - its not just the star value, the show is entertaining. It has a massive online following. That means as a show its not bad. But yet the show continues to gain low TRPs. While so many online are loving it!
There is a problem here - not with the show alone if any.


No show is perfect. But how is it that every single Colors show is in the dumpster? So while I agree to the A lister alone cannot bring in TRPs and content matters, i don't agree with absolving the channel of majority of the responsibility.
They have to either openly acknowledge this issue of their reach or not depend on TRPs. Neither is easy to be done. But well the truth cannot be changed either.

CC surely had a rating of 1.4 or 1,5 in intial weeks but it died out
