Yes it's very sad that her love is one-sided and that Rudra may have never loved her even if they spent their entire life together. But to me what makes it sadder is the way Rudra treated and still treats her. He is so rude to her...she deserves some respect. Yes he knows what she's up to but even before he had an idea he's treated her like she's some sort of an animal. I get that before he was a jaanwar himself and so treated all his relations with no respect...but even after Laila first entered the haveli a few weeks ago...he was rude to her. And even Laila demanded some respect from him...and this is the woman who likes Rudra's animalistic behaviour. It saddens me to see a woman who gets treated like this accept and even to some extent enjoy being treated like this.

@red bold...wow that's very upsetting 😔 I understand what you're saying, it is saddening to see that hurt in her eyes...but because she is lashing her anger out on Paro instead of Rudra I find it difficult to sympathize with her these days...

Unfortunately in real life woman lower themselves much more than Laila has. Plenty of women take beatings from their men and still come back for more. How disturbing.

Laila indeed is twisted. She actually enjoys that animal side of him and the treatment dished out to her! If he goes rough with her she is more than game for it n will enjoy it too! Laila is a hard woman. n very very different from what we know in our real lives.. I know they exist in real.. but so far removed from us in their personal hells..

Zee i don't think Rudra is correct BUT well.. see, he doesn't want to change.. but Paro is very fragile.. she will break if he handles without care.. and it somehow from a far away recess in him brings out responses he doesn't himself understand. Those hands that are trained to kill and maim touch Paro as if he was touching a fragile petals of a flower.
The eyes that are supposed to not flinch while a man is cut to pieces widen in a strange fear when he rushes to Paro's side n anxiously asks his trademark 'dukraha hai?' when she so much as whimpers..
He doesn't understand why it makes him feel like crap when he sees tears in her eyes.

These r responses. reactions to what Paro displays.
Rudra is changed only so far that he has started reacting to one human being.

And his frozen heart has started thawing and he is nicer to Babusa, kakusa, Maitili babisa and Suneri. But those changes happened months after he started reacting to Paro different from what was norm for her.

He even said sorry for Laila later on remmeber?
But that minute Laila made that entry - what rose was that last parting where Laila put acidic haldi on Paro, when she tried to stab Paro.
And that is why he pushed Paro behind him and closed the door and positioned himself to protect.

Rudra has changed.. but not that much as a person. Just towards Paro and the reactions she elicits out of him have changed really dramatically. Otherwise he hasn't really changed as a person.

aahh we r way off topic! n yes women taking abuse and puts up with it and comes back for more is a very disturbing thought..

And congratulations on being a Goldie!!! 🤗 aahh i remember how excited I was about 6yrs back when it happened!! Those days there were only 6 ladder groups n hardly any1 with more than 6k posts so it was a very big deal..

Paro fills Rudra's bowl fully and Laila chudail says to her that, what is the use of filling it completely when he will leave half of it..
And Mohini taunts - what Laila has understood in 2 days Paro hasn't understood till now after all this time..

That takes us back to the episode on last Thursday.. when Paro whose eyes were bandaged without even being able to see touches the plate of food he completed and reprimanded him like to a kid that he always leaves half the food in the plate and she doesn't like it.

Now let us look at it fully.

Leaving half of the food on the plate is a bad habit. And its not good for him either. And Laila has till now never cared that he slaked only half of his needs.. and thus has left him incomplete.

Paro on the other hand dares to reach to that other half too and tries to make him be complete. She doesn't allow him to indulge in bad habits, she wants to and strives to change him to the better.
He may do it again and again but she coaxes, gives a toffee as she told, or threatens him to do what is good for him.. remember what she told her gudiya? 😳

So this is no saas-bahu-vamp kitchen scene. Its a continuation of that small scene placed last Thursday where Paro knew him just as Mohini taunted Laila knew. Only difference is she refuses to let him indulge in that bad habit n wants better for him...
