That's Rudra for me. The silent, intense and caring lover. He may not proclaim his feelings from the rooftops, but his subtle ways reflect his love much better than roses and songs. He may not verbalise his feelings, but his actions speaks louder than words.
I don't expect her to understand an intense and complicated man like Rudra, but I expect her to give him the benefit of doubt, given her tall claims of loving him and trusting him. I don't expect her to ignore his past liaison with Laila, because its not easy to do so, particularly an eight-year long association. She would not be human then. But I would expect her not to fling the relation in his face every time, when he has made it very clear that it was nothing more than a physical need. Rudra does not lie and Paro knows that.
Rudra opened his heart to her, admitted he can't see her in pain, does everything to bring a smile to her face in his own way, but Paro has become blind as she wallows in self-pity and self-destructive tendencies. A person who claims to understand him does not see the hurt she is inflicting on him through her words and deeds. I can understand Paro's fears and uncertainties, but what I can't understand is her need to trust Laila's words over Rudra's.
I can't stand Laila, but atleast her love/lust/obsession whatever she feels for Rudra is absolute. She is willing to do anything to get him back, unlike Paro who is doing everything to alienate him.
