Laila creatives have written so far needs to go ASAP. The last we see of Laila after Haldi is the character I expected to come back someone who wanted pure revenge. She is not cut out for bhajans and button stitching tactics, if that is what she thought would have worked then how come it didn't work in the 8 years she was with him. Her first intro scene she explicitly states she is not wife material so the writers seem to have lost track of who Laila is. She is supposedly a worldly woman should know this that a man cannot be won over like this especially a man like Rudra once he is made up his mind about something he cannot be swayed and he made up him mind about not wanting Laila a long time ago. When sleeping with him for 8 years didn't change his mind nothing will. She should just want to destroy Rudra not necessarily Paro. I would have been more interested to watch that angle play out, in all soaps the woman always go after the women like seriously go after the men will you.
But even that might not have worked Laila wanting to purely destroy Rudra, Ankita doesn't have the it factor to hold her own against Ashish to play such dynamics. But the first time her character was introduced there was something there it wasn't a bad scene she held her own then because all she had to do was seduce him. Thakur and KCM have what it takes to go toe to toe with Rudra, be the devil against his guardian avataar, which involves making punchy dialogues which is the trademark of any exchange with Rudra because he himself got some awesome comebacks. Ankita has yet to showcase any such potential where she can match Rudra line by line. Even in that scene where there is scope for her to play mind games with Rudra wrong things are said, Laila should know Rudra weakness that is abandonment and his other emotional demons so that is what she should be attacking. Calling him mamooli and shaadi shuda and in love just like Rudra we had W*F expression like what is the point of all this bakwaas, Rudra knows he is shaadi shuda infact he is quite happy about it thank you very much and he is realizing he is in love and that is not bothering him either infact he is all smiles and Rudra told Paro once 'He is sirf a mamooli insaan' he will be the first person to insist he is as mamooli as they come nothing special it is only our beloved Paro for whom Rudra is beyond mamooli almost a god. If you are going to make Laila attack Rudra can she atleast pick the right points.
Laila should have just teamed up with Thakur and bring Rudra down that is the only good track for her. Her winning over Rudra or wanting him in her life is laughable and frankly it insults her intelligence to even think such things. Rudra can lose Paro, Rudra can hate Paro, Rudra can love Paro, but in all this there is only one truth it is always Rudra and Paro never Rudra and Laila, if Laila understood that it would have given her character so much depth. I don't want to be more insulting to poor Ankita we have really beaten her down a lot, but it might be better for RR team to recast Laila.
