Rudra is many things but being a cheater is not one of them, he can't even cheat in his heart.

Ekta kapoor specializes in this department she has done PHD you know why not just because her villains are sick and diabolical and repulsive but also what works for her is that her shows are all female oriented and male leads are weaklings that is the perfect combination for affairs in her shows. I haven't seen all her shows but word of mouth is that in all her shows the men cheat and have multiple marriages and kids from different partners. Rudra is not an ekta kapoor hero he is too principled too strong willed too honorable and more importantly he is got genuine character.
Laila is trying to play a typical ekta kapoor villain who seduces the man but unfortunately the man in question is way out of her league. Writers should know this better than anyone they created Rudra they know him best. That is where this track going wrong because writers should give Laila another angle just pure revenge that would have worked better her trying to get Rudra to love her forget love he can't even stand her or even like her this is never going to work it seems so silly audience is laughing instead of dreading.
I agree Ankita is miscast for this role, ekta kapoor should lend some tips to RR team on how to cast great villains infact her shows are more about the bad guys than the good guys. But sadly I don't want that to happen to Rudra and Paro because she would ruin her lead pairs destroy them make the poor audience cry that is how awful they were. I don't mind some masala but my poor heart can't stand that kind of evil.

LA...u landing on my post😲😲😲...that tells me I must have done something right😆

Srsly people like u and MKM are for me like Rudra and I am Paro putting u guys on pedestal...if u know what I mean...and if u guys are on my post...either I am blessed or my stars are just in the right planets😆

Now coming to ur reply...I absolutely loved what u wrote in bold and completely agree with u. Laila's characterization and her placement in this story is just not right. Laila of all should have known by now he aint going to call out to her or anyone for that matter to stitch a BUTTON...for God sakes...button really?? And wats more amusing is she already knows Rudra has feelings for Paro...if he really had to call someone...why will he call Laila when his beloved Paro is right under the same roof. The button story flew over my head...except I grinned like an idiot seeing PaRud display utter cuteness😆.

EK shows...however crap they may be...but her vamps are lavish...stylish and totally with aura and attitude and u hate them with such Rudra like passion😆

And Ankita...can someone pls tell her to re look at her face in the mirror so she knows not to do injustice to that cute face in future again😆

@bold...this is exactly what is wrong with the current track more than the acting or anything else. Laila trying to get close to Rudra by breaking buttons is totally inplausible. They should instead try to show her trying to separate PaRud or create some misgivings in their mind for each other,

TBH...they really dont need Laila now in the story to create rift between PaRud. Kakisa and Summer joint forces venture should be enough...plus why not simple start Mala track...

And you are right. Sanaya and Ashish project themselves so strongly that it over shadows Ankita... And that's not good for a villain

Sanaya ...Ashish and Ananya have such strong screen presence that if there is any other actor placed along with them...that person better have a good characterization and convincing performance like Mythali...Summer...Kakusa...
The above characters have actors that may not have the caliber of Sanaya, Ashish and Ananya acting wise...but their characters are convincing enough and the actors playing them have equally convincing performance...so they work.

Ankita and Laila both dont work here...

More than Ankita it's the character of Laila who doesn't make sense at the moment.

I mean this guy knows her well for 8 years now instead of showing her smart they're showing her so dumb. Her singing the Bajan was enough to create douts in his mind about her.

She knows Rudra behavior towards her he had told her many times to stop acting like his wife as she will never be. He never give rights to her then when they were in a 8 years relationship then why would he now? when she knows well Rudra have feelings for Paro? If Rudra wants to call someone to fix his button for him it would be Paro.

Rudra can't stand her she can clearly see his attitude towards her. Anyone who tries to hurt or harm his Paro becomes his enemy and Rudra end his relationship with her the day she tried to kill Paro...He consider her as his enemy.

I agree...Like I have been mentioning...The characterization is gone wrong with Laila...Ankita playing that character is making it only worse

Agree with this post ... both Ankita and Laila are not working for me. What was the point of Laila doing the aarti? Does she think Rudra is going to be fooled by that one? He knows her far too well not to realise that is an act.
And the entire Laila plan of breaking a button in the hope Rudra will call her, or she will step in, was laughable ... I expected Rudra to bellow for Paro in that scene, and shout at her for not having his uniform ready for him ... but Paro coming in worked just as well ... no clue how Laila expected that Rudra would let her stitch that button on.

The only scene which made some sense was where Laila tried to remind Rudra what a jallad he was, and how fiercely independent he used to be ... those mind games are what I expect from Laila ... not aartis and button stitching! And when she taunted Kakisa for welcoming her a little too warmly, knowing how Kakisa hates Rudra. Those two scenes showed that Laila might .. just might ... be a force to reckon with.

Ankita as an actress is not working for me at all. She makes faces in the name of acting ... and she can't hold her own in the same scenes as Sanaya, Ashish and Ananya Khare ... these actors own their roles ... Ankita is struggling with Laila, especially with the evil side.

But TRP junta doesn't really care about acting chops ... they want good characterization ... right now, Laila's is very meh.

Thanks DiyuSa...

I really cant say much about TRP junta...they 90% of the time amaze me...so what their call would be on Laila...I'd rather not go there...

As for the 2 scenes you pointed out...Her mind games with Rudra might have worked for me if Ankita playing that part would have been able to keep me gripped. Apart from characterization and the actor...power play is also a factor of flaw here. U need a certain degree of attitude...and convincing looks and apt dialogue delivery when playing mind games...coz while the other character is getting washed away...the audience also needs to be able to get swayed away...such should be the impact...Here when that scene played out...I was either Rudra is just going to brush it off or hush her out with sixer of his own...meaning the impact of that scene wasn't coming out as though u feel the character of Rudra is feeling any bump at his ego...This was a perfect example rather of how strong a screen presence Ashish had infront of Ankita...that he literally ate up that scene...leaving the impact nil from Laila's court.
I FF-ed laila and Ananya parts honestly...so wont comment...

But ya...the jist is...Laila and Ankita are not keeping the best of my interests so far...and if the CVs are to play her out for long...I might just take a break and wait till her track is over and only catch PaRud scenes to follow their story...

I'm with you! I really hope the TRP junta doesn't like the Laila track either so the cvs wrap it up quickly...if they drag it...I think I'll have to take a break from the show as well...the Laila track itself feels really contrived, and because Ankita is struggling in Laila's character, the contrived track isn't even half convincing; and therefore failing to keep me gripped to the story.
