Hi Sush, lovely post. I totally second you on keeping the hero and the attraction factors intact. I love that Rudra is emotionally not as strong as Paro. Love that she is his emotional pillar. Love how they complete each other, how they fill each others flaws. But that doesn't mean Rudra is a weak man. Nope 😊.
I totally understand that talking about his mother is always difficult to him. That is one topic he never wants to talk about. But today he opened up about it which was a big achievement on its own. And I would have loved it more if that scene was toned down a bit. Well, the opinion differs from person to person and this is mine. It is all in the way we as an individual see things, Like Paro says.😃
Coming to the episode I can't say I loved it due to obvious person's entrance. Like I said, I am not a huge fan of this track . So I will try to avoid Laila and just talk about our love birds.
The continuation of yesterday's scene was wonderful. Rudra looked so confused when Paro gave him his pills. It was like, "How could she love me so much? How should I control my feelings? What if I hurt her?". Till today Rudra harassed her, yelled at her, challenged her, was rude to her, tried it in every mean possible way to push her away from him. But today he requested her, pleaded with her, tried to make her understand, warned her of ruining her life. All because he was worried for her, her life, her future, that he might really ruin her. He every dialogue makes it crystal clear that he feels he is incapable of love. That he can't reciprocate her feelings, do justice to her love. That he is only good at hurting people. Why? Because of his bitter past which made him emotionless, a rock. Even though he realizes his feelings for Paro he doesn't know what to do next. How to take the next step? He doesn't know how to let go of his past and move on as according to him his past never leaves him alone. It follows him, making him remember, hurting him again. What he said was true in a way. I can understand what me meant. I mean, he did find his mother in the worst place possible in the whole world.
I felt really sorry for that little boy when he said, "I stopped playing, never went any where because I was waiting for her." No child should go through that heart break. And Man! he was so scared of her walking back into his life. Who wouldn't be? Even though I don't know the reason why mala left, I resent her for putting a child through that hell. This side of Rudra is so vulnerable, so fragile and may be that was what the director wanted to show by his breakdown. At least, that was what I derived from it. But please creatives, emotional breakdowns can be a little subtle too. He need not breakdown every time to show his pain. There are other ways and Ashish is a fine actor. So use him well.
Paro was his listener today. Confused by her affection, he asks her, "Why me?Why love me?" and Paro gives him a perfect reply like always. Such wonderful scene. And she silently stands, listening as he pours his heart out, guiding him, encouraging him, ensuring him it will make him feel lighter, being his pillar of support. That was Paro today... his emotional outlet, his pillar, his listener. She was surprised to know his mother was back, but gave him his time to speak up. We might have wanted her to hold him or caress him but I think she was in shock from the revelation of his mother.
And that darn phone rings at the right moment spoiling everything. It was hard for Rudra to open up but he finally did. It was a huge step and takes lot of courage but he gathered it. Unfortunately things were still left unsaid. I wonder when we will get the continuation of this scene now.
Now for the rest of the episode. I loved how Rudra jumped on Paro and snapped, "Thera pati nahi tha woh." Awww... Our Rudra is very possessive. I would love to see this jealousy side of Rudra a bit more in the future. CV's please. Paro who is more emotional fell for Laila's trick very fast but our Rudra was not. He is smart enough to catch her Bewakoof story and call Aman. Seriously! what will Tejawat gain from torturing that women? It is utter nonsense. I hope Rudra catches this ladie's bluff soon and throws her out ASAP.
It is not even a day after Laila's entry and I am totally lost. Wonder how I will hold myself for this whole track. Seriously CV's PaRud's bedroom. Is there no guest room in that huge haveli for Crying Out Loud? Rudra you are my only ray of hope... please kick that lady out soon.
I know right Sush, I was totally pissed today after the breakdown. I got so distracted and started looking away...
So coming back to what I liked...I liked the connection and the trust that is already building between the couple...I liked his confession...about his inability to have a heart ...fully capable to love...I liked his willingness to open up and talk to Paro about his deepest wounds...I liked Paros POV...that yo don't choose to fall in love...you just do...I liked the fear he expressed about being haunted by his past tha will not le him move on...I liked Paros compassion for a woman in need whatever he background may beI liked her ability to explain that each story can be looked at from different points of views...I liked her sharpness to understand Laila's feelings towards the Major...I loved her hearts capacity to love and forgive...to even someone like Laila...
HI Indra! True that! What I loved about it is...she is not doing it because she has no clue about Rudra and Laila...But she is doing it despite of it...It is not stupidity...it is...the sign of a self assured person...It is not in her to turn her back to a person in need ...for her insecurities...
Nice Post !I get that Paro is compassionate and I was fine with her getting Laila inside since she was hurt and unconscious. Paro was sharp enough to understand that Laila loved Rudra hence she attacked her on haldi. But then at the same time she believed Laila when she said she no longer has feelings for Rudra...a woman who was ready to kill for Rudra a few weeks back says i have no feelings for him and Paro believes her...i don't understand that. Once she was given first aid, she had regained consciousness and was ready to leave on her own accord, there was no reason for Paro to emotionally blackmail Rudra to let her stay back. That didn't make sense to me at all.
