Lovely post as always, Sabs ... you make the episode complete with your take. ⭐️
Good taut writing and screenplay from start to finish ... the cvs chose a good time for Dilsher's re-entry. I was hoping Mohini would lie low for a while after the epic fail of her scheme ... but no such luck ... we have Laila back already!

I guess all those people close to Rudra can read him better than he realises ... his completely uncharacteristic behaviour towards Paro, his over-protectiveness ... and the final straw of course, the fact that he called for her when he woke up ... in a room full of people who care for him. Not much left to decipher ... as Aman and Dilsher are quick to point out to him 😆 So Rudra is forced to wonder ... are they all correct? Is his concern for Paro more than just concern for a witness?

Well duh ... Rudra banna! 😆

I loved the little scene in the office when Paro comes bursting in, and his first question is 'are you all right?' That is one thing that never changes. And he took a couple of steps forward, when he asked her how she would go back, and thanked her ...
As Paro told him, she had done all she could, now it was his turn to make the effort.

Love your interpretation of the last scene ...
At first he denied that anything was wrong, that he was in pain, that his world had turned upside-down. He turned his face away. And then when her concerned eyes went to his trembling right hand, he gratefully seized at the excuse and offered up the hand in place of his heart for her sympathy, her attention. Anything to hide the quake in his heart. And then she said "Take my hand. Keep trying. Don't let it defeat you." Words that flicked him on the raw, made him think she'd read his mind and his heart. So he whipped out his rejection: "Stop talking nonsense. Go from here."
But Paro was not so easily shaken off. She placed his hand on her arm and urged him to grip it with all his might as he'd hold on to an enemy trying to cross the border. But try as he might, Rudra could not comply. Still she squeezed her eyes shut, making him ask her if it hurt. A smile and the shake of her head were all the answer he got. He must think of someone else he hated, she urged. But switched tactics at his anguish and lack of response. He could think of her, of holding on to her and not letting her go - not just today but forever, Paro told him. Told him even as the light died out her eyes, the storm built in his, and he held on finally as though he'd never let her go.

I felt Paro was also preparing him for her own departure ... telling him not to let her go ... to hold on to her ... reminding him of how many times he held on to her, chased after her ... first as captive, then as a woman he hated ... and now, she says, forget all that ... just hold my hand and don't let me go.
She gave him up, but she never asked him to give up on her. And she hopes that he won't ... that he will find the strength and the faith to hold on to her.

Have you done a Vulcan mindmeld with Rudra or something? Or a Legilimens spell!?😉

Yes, there was a lot of Rudra today. But that one exquisite fragile scene of Paro, running out to hold her happiness close to her heart. Made me want to cry! It was just like napsters story... Say goodbye. Navin, are you listening?

Awww, why cant they just live happily ever after with a football team of little dhuas and angaars?😭

@bold ... true ... that was the most poignant scene in the episode ... Paro's joy at the smallest sign that Rudra cares for her ... and overtaken by her sorrow as she remembers this joy will be short-lived.

You know I have to say something that is amazing about this couple that is so unique to them and never ever seen on TV atleast I have not is their emotional honesty with one another no matter what phase they are in love or hate they are honest with each other. From the first moment Rudra and Paro met each other as kids they are defined by this emotional honesty. This emotional honesty that is so beautiful about this couple hope is kept intact and I hope it is Rudra who tells Paro about Laila.

Rudra has never hid his pain from Paro, not as a kid and not as an adult. As a kid he needed her, and as an adult he needs her when his job is in trouble what was there between them at that time but he cries to her tells her what will happen to him if he lost his job, talks about his mom is open with her about his hurt his abandonment, told her openly he is suffering being in this house and he is being punished. For Rudra Paro was never an enemy she is his emotional anchor even during the captor and captive phase he reached out to her to vent and showed his vulnerable side.

Now that she is his wife it is not shocking he would utter haath and show her his pain. This is nothing new he has always turned to her when he is in any pain physical or emotional. She didn't understand them at the beginning, and has yet to fully know him now, but that doesn't stop Rudra for calling out to Paro and here she comes she is trying to help him and has long ways to go.

There is a misconception if people think Rudra is now started on the journey to love. No he started on this journey 15 years back he has always loved her he is actually at the end of this journey of realization, but the end is not for love, journey of love will continue forever. He connected with that feeling when he met her again fifteen years later, something so familiar, she was waiting for him and he was waiting for her.

I think this Laila track can have only one fitting conclusion. Rudra to utter those magic words 'Rudra sirf Paro ka hai'. Will it matter if Paro is around or not to hear him say it no, in the end it won't be upto Paro to decide their fate Rudra would have finally lost the fight with himself, damn the truth about laila, damn my mother, damn the past, damn the exchange with bholenaath, Paro is his and he is not letting her go not this time not ever symbolic end to the episode.

Rudra is now realizing it is futile to fight his feelings and they will burst like a dam and he will scream what he has been wanting to say all along for so long for so many years to that young girl on the bus 'I love you Paro I have always loved you I might have betrayed my body to another but my heart and soul is one with yours so tell me how can you sacrifice me to bholenaath we are the same so if you have decided to sacrifice yourself let us go together for I am a part of you'

What a title...nowhere to Run Major Saab!

Brilliant post Sabs as always and what an episode...

Whilst Paro finds solace in little treasures than Rudra showers upon her, we have Rudra taking his baby steps towards acceptance of his love for her.

Just loved how the CVs chose the hand metaphor to reveal their relationship.

The hand just like his heart is finding it hard to reach out and hold on to her love...

This scene belongs to ST/GH/RS/MD/Janaki and the actors that flew out of their pages to become Rudra and Paro.👏

Sanaya nailed it in her scene of depicting happiness and then sadness over the little things he bestows upon her...Her joy knows no bounds and then reality strikes. That scene was so beautifully done...👏

And then Ashish. I have never been bowled over by a male actor (not even BS; but a select few scenes) as much as I am in awe of Ashish's performance. You can feel his emotional involvement in the scenes...👏

Every time I say he is damn good, he throws another expression leaving me speechless and spell bound...

I am scared to say this, but I keep thinking man!...is this performance on TV...I mean Indian TV?...isn't he is just too good for this stuff?...

And our Parud Shippers are just too good to be true. CVs better make sure you develop Aman's love story for the whole fandom is waiting for that to happen.

And yipeee.Rudra takes off his jacket at last!...got to see him in a White Tee...looking so very HOT...What next!😉

Precap - Like Rudra just too scared to think anything...

Also don't know what KCM is still doing around the haveli! I mean isn't a Laila enough?😔

Or she gets this brilliant idea of getting Sumer married to Laila?😲😒

Wonderful post. Beautifully written. It was truly an Awesome episode. And I totally loved your title. It is perfect. Poor Rudra was really cornered today with no where to run 😆. And while cornering Mohini led to nothing, cornering Rudra gave us results. He realized that Paro is important to him. That she has touched his heart. That whole scene was shot so beautifully.

Paro's breakdown and Rudra's journey to realizing his love were the two high points of today's episode. Sanaya and Ashish were fantastic. The whole team deserves a huge applause.👏

Shree,

Worry NOT. My prediction -

Laila enters the house wounded. Rudra asks her to go to hospital.Paro takes pity on her and allows her to stay. Rudra fights with Paro about this. But Paro will not change her decision as Kakisa will support her.

Paro remembers her upcoming separation. Sees how much Laila adores Rudra. Tries to push these two together. Rudra fumes. The more Paro pushes Rudra away - the more he will move towards Paro. He has to go against Paro's actions always - right ? 😃

And that contributes to four weeks of intense romance

Its nice to see some members give credit to the whole team instead of harping on just Ashish or just Sanaya. And you do that everyday.

There are very few fans of the 'show' and the 'team'. You happen to be one of them. Always a pleasure to read your review. 🤗
