As I already stated in my reply to this post, I have seen some superb analysis for the epsiode today on this thread, yours being one among the best @Hope. After the episode, your writing brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for such a wonderful write up...this is awesome especially after some depressing posts elsewhere in the forum. 😛----UnReserved
Beautifully written, Sush. Loved everything you wrote. Ya, true. Today's was the most emotional episode of RR. It was bitter and sweet, heartwarming and heartbreaking all the same time.
I loved everything about the episode. But what I loved most was Paro. Man! this girl is really strong. I an sure emotional Paro is much stronger than Rudra physically is. I have no words. The moment she realized that he, her Rudra was her most precious possession, we can see her whole world come crashing down as she freezes and drops on her knees. We could feel her helplessness. She has no doubt now. She knows what she has to do. If she has to give up her most prized thing to get a boon from her Bolenath, then give up she will. Even if it kills her. So, totally shattered she says, "theek hai, dediya unhe aapko bolenath." That, right there was her total submission to god. She gave him her everything. That is her faith.
When Pandit as shocked as we are, asks her what she has done. She explains it plain and clear. How can she lie to her Bolenath and give something of less importance when she knows Rudra, and her relationship with him is her precious possession. No she can't. And that too when praying for Rudra's recovery, his life. Paro, Paro, Paro... You are one totally pure and white soul. Yesterday I thought, why does she let go of Rudra when she can let go of many other important things? Answer was simple. Because she is Paro. She is truthful to herself and her Bolenath. Her faith doesn't let her weigh the damage or importance or her need when deciding on what to let go. Her simple answer to Panditji crushed my heart. This girl might be naive but is very truthful and humble. I really admire her for that.
When she confidently says, "You must have saved him by now." to her Bolenath, then we understand how deeply she believes in him. How sure she is of him. God! and that one word, "Parooo." from our Major saab as he lets out his breath, was enough to crash all the walls and pierce my heart. That moment when I parallely saw her giving him up and him waking up you calling her name made me cry for them. That scene makes you realize how much these two are meant for each other and how they can never be complete without each other.
The scene where she enters the room slowly while looking through the door was beautifully made. We can see her pain as she restrains herself from running to him, unable to decide what to do, not sure whether she has to leave now.. She looked totally lost in that scene.
Rudra's Paro.. Paro, simply shows how attached he is to her even though he doesn't accept it. Even in that condition he could think only of her and her wound. He gathers all his energy to order her to go see a doctor. Because Paro is that important to him. He need her right in front of him, next to him, with him, which makes us wonder what he will do without her. How will how will he survive? How shattered he will be?
And Paro also knows that. So, she straight away gets into the task at hand. Paro never delibrately did anything that she knew will agitate Rudra. But today for the first time she spoke about the one thing he hates to speak of... his past. Sush... You wrote beautifully about Paro, Rudra and this conversation. I don't think I can add aything new to it. So, I will just say... it was a wonderful scene and the dialogues were as always BANG ON.
I can't think of Paro without Rudra or Rudra without Paro. I am as much shattered as Paro regarding the seperation and will be as hurt as Rudra when she leaves. I want the CV's to give clouser to this track soon before I lose my mind thinking about what will be the outcome of her leaving him.
Sanaya Irani... You are FANTASTIC today. This girl is an AMAZING actor. Ashish, Man! loved Rudra's expression when Aman asks Paro if she went to temple barefoot. You nailed it.
I really don't have a clue what I wrote today. I am as lost as Paro.. I guess. Excuse me, if nothing I said made sense. I am totally exhausted physically and mentally today.
