Can you imagine...how painful it will be for Paro to live every moment with him thinking that her days are numbered...She made a promise that she will see to it that he is fully recovered...But at the same time she knows how much it will hurt him when she has to leave...
how devastated and unable to deal with the loss he will be...

So what is her task?

To help him...stand on his feet...not only physically...but emotionally...
To help him...let go...of the past...of the pain...so that he can live his life...to the fullest...
And take the pain...when it comes...and deal with it without falling apart...

And she has no time to lose...she started on that already...today...this moment...
He tells her she can't command him...she shouldn't think that she owns him...just because she went to the temple...
And she comes directly to the point...how long will he put up the pretense that he hates her?
How long will he let the bitterness of his past ruin his present?
He needs to learn to LET GO!

All she has is not a book or a quote but her own experience ...to relate to that...she has learned to let go ...! He has to as well...If they walk forward looking back...they will be hurt again and again...

I LOVE PARO! I love how direct she is, I love how to the point she is...and I LOVE how honest and right she is...

Yes...no two people have the same pain...the same past...but it is not about comparing...it is about helping the other person realize that ...he can overcome it...there is a way...but he has to try...

And the last scene was the most symbolic...when she feeds him the apple...but after a point she says...
she has fed him as much as she wanted to...now it is up to him to take care of himself...
Yes...it won't be easy...she knows it...but she can't be his crutch forever...He has to want to help himself...
What a difficult task...Paro has...to teach some one she loves so dearly...how to be without her...at the same time...

This is complex...and with so many layers...totally LOVING IT!!!

Sush,

Loved your posts today ... and especially loved this one.

Be it divine intervention or whatever ... I think this is the best thing for Rudra and Paro currently. Paro has shown Rudra a glimpse of the bliss that can be his, if he lets go of his past and accepts her love ... and his own. She has taken all the steps she could towards him.

Now she is stepping back ... or rather, for the moment, she is stopping where she is ... and he has to complete the rest of the journey on his own. He has to grow out of what he WAS ... into the man he CAN BE ... the man Paro firmly believes he IS.

And I LOVE both Maithili and Aman ... they are slowly evolving into two absolutely wonderful characters. Want to see more of them! 😆

Fab post Sush! 👏

I just loved Paro giving the Major some much needed tough love 👍🏼.. He looks super cute with the apple stuffed in his mouth... I simply wanted to get inside the screen and pull his cheeks! 😳

Seriously Aman and Maithili deserve a big round of applause! I so hope that Aman in particular gets more screen time now that the Major would require some help 😉

After the episode, your writing brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for such a wonderful write up...this is awesome especially after some depressing posts elsewhere in the forum. 😛

Thank you so much. I am very happy that you liked my write up. The episode was so beautiful and heartbreaking that one can only hope to do complete justice when penning it down.

@DivyaS: Thank you.

I'll copy paste that I wrote on Sabs' post due to to lack of time. Hubby travelling, day off so much to do.

Even before she enters Rudra feels her presence. It said so much her stepping back, that now she would have to put a curb on her outpouring of love for him. Of things to come. Here onwards she would simply nurse him back to health..but would suppress her feelings.

I also loved the way she shoved the apple pieces into his mouth just to shut him up.😃 There is one shot there of her, when he speaks of his anger...that said she knew him so well, but with an underlying sadness.

Many complaint she never speaks to him of his past...today she did...every word a priceless profound piece of advise...and that plate - his past...she could help him this much...he had to reach out and deal with it himself.

Sanaya and her eyes that can tell you a story, Ashish looking heavenly even whilst lying there in hospital garb, Maithli...what a brilliant team of actors have we.

I leave you with this quote from one of my favourite movies. It sums up the whole episode as such...

"How do you look at someone you Love and tell yourself...Its time to Walk Away" - The Vow

👏 👏 So well said! I was not sure what I felt about the epi - about the hesitation at the door, the apple scene (the last scene)...their conversation. All of that seemed to be the soul of the epi, but I wasn' sure what I felt about it. Was that a lecture at the end? How to understand it? Her name was the first name out of his lips even before he is fully conscious...and the concern at her hurt feet, and yet the retreat into his gruff bluster.

But you've explained the scene/the epi so so well. It rings true and I feel you're spot on. Such a beautiful take. One that goes right to the essence -- sways to neither extreme, but tries to navigate the layers and the nuance, the core, that is eternal and true, and all the existential contradictions. So Beautifully put, and I totally agree with you!

Its lovely.

And so also Aman and Maithili...

very nice post , just as beautiful as the episode

swetha the pics are too good yaar , they tell a story too

when that weird pandit spoke of sacrifice , it was sad to see paro doesnt really own anythingother than her relationship with rudra and paro was determined today ,even sadde to r see that she was willing to sacrifice it
i dont get which pandit say such things and what does it mean , but desperate times and with god as the last resort you take anything that is coming your way , faith ka koi explanation nahin

dialogues were good too .

the next few day i hope they explore paro's feeling well , like you said it will be really heart breaking to be with rudra knowing her days are numbered and that she will have to leave him

till now her confidence and behavior was because she has the feeling they are meant to be together , anger , hurt anything she was ready to deal with it

now the scene has reversed , she knows the companionship is temporary , i want to see how she rises above her fears

Hi Priya,
The pundit character looked like he was really pushing...could have been more subtle...But overall the scene was good...

Like you said...now that she knows she has to leave...it adds this tension into the story that was needed...Mr. Hegde is one prolific writer!!! Well done!😃

hey sush ,
i must say i like this twist , complete reversal 😊
pandit i thought was asking for money , keemti vastu and all that
provided they explore paro's fear , sadness well
which i think they will , if this is what ST meant by 4 weeks of romance , i say bring it on , i am loving it
