reading your superb take, always makes me go and re watch the episode, and pick up things which i may have missed out earlier on ...

the last scene stood out for me ..
paro's last parting words for rudra should shake something inside of him ... lets see.. 😉

Hi Sabs,

Brilliant writing, as usual!
Thanks Chamkeeli.😊
I normally re read your post a few times and let you know my fave parts, but am refraining from doing so today cos I can't take the bitter sweetness.. 😭 I cant take Paro's pain and possibly Rudra's future pain when she leaves...

I wanted to use my reply though today to talk about the actress who plays Mythili... Her name is Gitanjali Mishra, btw... I googled...
Thanks for this. 😊

Her ability to show vulnerability is truly, truly amazing! And she's quite good even in her romantic scenes (oh well, to the extent we've seen scenes with her and Samrat) ... And equally important for an actor is screen presence, which she has plenty ...To be able to stand out in scenes with actors like Ashish, Sanaya and Ananya is no mean achievement.. Like in the hospital scene yesterday when Rudra was not waking up, she very gently holds on to Rudra's feet... very subtle touch.. but, something that draws your attention, shows her concern for him as her devarsa and him as her Paro's husband...
Great point! 👏👏 And agreed. She has great screen presence, and a well-modulated voice, sometimes a little too well-modulated, I think. But definitely clearer than I've know either Sanaya's or Ashish's to be, In fact that's my pet peeve with RR, that the sound is not very clear. Frequently miss out the words and have to re-listen repeatedly to figure out what's being said.
But back to Gitanjali, she has really done a good job when she's been given the opportunity. And hope to see the CVs develop her role more and give her more opp to support PaRud.

I still remember the scene with Ashish after he brings in a drenched Paro... To be on the same screen as Ashish and grab attention by her sheer presence and acting ability was truly commendable... I don't know how long she has been acting, but she is a much better actor, has amazing screen presence compared to a lot of other leading ladies that are out there now... I admit, I dont follow other Indian shows except for an occasional episode or scene while sifting channels. But, from what I've seen of her in RR, I hope she gets her due and does well Clap

Yes that scene, the scene in which she was kidnapped, and the adoption request - all stand-out scenes.
I think that's what makes RR more special... besides a stellar leading pair, the acting talent that the team has is exemplary...
Agreed the acting in RR has great depth, from Dilsher, Danveer, Kakisa, Sumer, Thakur and Thakurain down to the CO - they're all very capable actors. And light up the screen with their special brand of acting when they appear.

Anyway, I'll continue watching with a heavy heart... I admit I'm not liking how this current track makes me feel...

I don't think you should worry unduly. I admit I am not, only because, they can't do too long a separation if indeed it takes place for the sake of the TRPs. And if there is tension, then yes just adds the bitter-sweet quotient, doesn't erase the love. Because now the love will already be there. What's the worst Rudra can do to Paro? What's the worst that Paro will let him do to himself. And Paro is a girl of faith. Her faith will sustain her through the rough times.

Maybe, I need to take a page from Paro's advice to Rudra today... to savor the present..😛

Definitely!! 😊🤗

Thank you Mozart!! ❤️🤗 Love ya!! You always, always make my day!!

The episode had me clapping for Paro all through with equally brilliant support from other characters!! Today Paro truly won me over! Even though her sacrifice looked something unreal and we all were arguing about it, when she closed her eyes and honestly thought about what is important in her life, she saw nothing and no one but Rudra!!! So it was only natural for her to sacrifice that very thing!! She is brutally honest! With herself, with Rudra, with her Bholenath and everybody in general!! The sacrifice also shook the priest!! Bravo CVs for portraying Paro this way!

So true!! There is no way she could have lied to herself or to Bholenath! And what a price she's paid!!😭

What I loved even more about Paro was her ability to come forth with some home truths to Rudra in a direct and calm manner and effectively making him ponder over it. Rudra is definitely affected by Paro's speech!! He will now think more calmly about it.

Yes I thought he took it rather well all things considered. I think what made him more receptive was Paro saying she'd seen some bad times too. And he realised the truth of that and was a little chastened.
Moreover this brutally honest Paro when leaves Rudra will hopefully not leave without being upfront about it! That itself will break Rudra's notion about beautiful women right there! He will surely see the difference between his mother and her protege!! (provided CVs keeps that essence of honesty in paro's character in tact by then)
This is what I am unsure of. I do hope she tells Rudra she is leaving. Because if she doesn't, Rudra will think the worst. Unless he has overcome his insecurities, which I doubt can happen so soon.
Her way of helping Rudra was bang on! Supported him till he needed it and left him to help himself rest of the way! Thus she kept her desire to help him and yet kept Rudra's self-esteem in tact so that he doesn't feel invalid!! Superb characterization!!

Brilliant!! I was in awe. And so was Rudra, actually!! He didn't expect it. Just note his expression when she puts the plate on his lap and leaves. He is quite stunned.

What do I say about acting? Ashish even when shown bed-ridden is as dynamic as ever!! Sanaya portrayed every nuance of Paro's character so beautifully that it took my breath away for I was expecting Paro's character to be similar to what I saw yesterday! Chalo, Bholenath listened to my wish without asking for any sacrifices!! The actress who plays Maithili is Gitanjali Mishra (I believe it is her first show) was very endearing and brought out her conflict between standing by the truth and being a good daughter-in-law! Commendable!
Yes acting was stellar across the board. And thank you for Mythili's real name.

So looking forward to show down at home!! Let's see what Mohini faces tonight!!
Yes can't wait. 😃

Sabs,

Every word you write here breathes life and emotions.

Thanks DD. 😃 🤗And for your sweet words.

Will copy that I wrote on Sunara's post due to lack of time. Hubby travelling, day off so much to do.
Totally understand. I've had a stream of visitors today, and have had to snatch time in between to respond to comments. 😊

Even before she enters Rudra feels her presence. It said so much her stepping back, that now she would have to put a curb on her outpouring of love for him. Of things to come. Here onwards she would simply nurse him back to health..but would suppress her feelings for him.
👏 Well said!! And so true. Now it's Rudra's turn to chase after her. And he's completely disconcerted already at her behaviour.

I also loved the way she shoved the apple pieces into his mouth just to shut him up.😃 There is one shot there of her, when he speaks of his anger...that said she knew him so well, but with an underlying sadness.
@ Apple pieces: was too cute!! 😃
@ Underlying sadness: Yes very poignant, that!

Many complaint she never speaks to him of his past...today she did...every word a priceless profound piece of advise...and that plate - his past...she could help him this much...he had to reach out and deal with it himself.
I know I almost dismissed the words she said with that plate. Caught them second time around and was much struck!!

As you have said each and everyone of them were just amazing. Sanaya and her eyes that can tell you a story, Ashish looking heavenly even whilst lying there in hospital garb, Maithli...what a brilliant team of actors have we.

I leave you with this quote from one of my favourite movies

"How do you look at someone you Love and tell yourself...Its time to Walk Away" - The Vow
Lovely!! Thank you. 😊

hugs
dd

What is your view on this BugSa ?

Not sure if this can play out. Because all the vows are already down the drain as of now. He's made her happy, honoured her, loved her, cared for her, made their togetherness as close to heaven as possible...et al. So if the vows were to play out, they might play out selectively. A few that match up with the situation at that point. Not sure the CVs will deliberately tune the rest of the tracks to these vows.
