Maybe he knows that if she thought it would spare his feelings she would go that far.

Love your take on a towel clad Rudra and Paro's reaction to it (Side note: Was it just me or were we allowed a glimlse of black shorts through the steam covered glass? 😆 Maybe I should go watch it again just to be sure 😳)

It was endearing to watch Paro hide the piece of paper that had their names written on it. Perhaps her only momento of their togetherness since they hadn't even had wedding cards made.

Lovely post.
Thank You! 😳

Thank you, Niyoti. 😃 Glad you enjoyed it. Some sharp insights here:
@ The bruise on the wrist: 👏 What a wonderful connect!! And loved your analysis. Yes he didn't believe her when she denied that he'd inflicted the wound. He was appalled. And as you so brilliantly point out, was convinced she was lying to save him pain.
@ Towel-clad Rudra: Yes indeed, they were censoring below-the-waist with a heavy black band. 😃 Resurgent need to support the anti-censorship brigade!! And yes must watch it again. I will too!!
@ Paro's little memento: That was very sweet but kinda heart-breaking (yes I'm anticipating it). And as you rightly point out, there were no wedding cards - so this will have to do. All her dreams coming true, in some small measure.

The episode! Hmmm... what do I say?! No words can describe the emotions that I felt while watching it!! In one of my previous posts, don't remember which one, I had said that Rudra is going to play out the 8 vows but in REVERSE!!! Well, the journey in the reverse gear has begun!!
Rudra's change of heart or change in behavior wasn't sudden! He was always possessive and caring about Paro. He just never admitted it to himself or her!! But all the care in the world for Paro has always been there! That is what even Paro knows and so she understands him as he is!! She knows real Rudra! In this Jaipur trip I so wish Paro brings out the best in Rudra and introduces this real Rudra to himself!! He is already being aware of many things now that he is in the close proximity of Paro!! Wonder when will that control slip!!

The scenes in the bedroom were cute!! Liked it so much when Rudra was non-judgmental and allowed Paro to enjoy things on her own!! Paro had a wonderful time!! She has collected sweet memories for lifetime!! Her real happiness was not in the material things! They were just means! Her real pleasure and happiness was in Rudra taking her with him as his wife and giving her a lifetime of treasure! Notice how she lovingly picked up the card on the bouquet with their names written on it and put it in the bag as a souvenir!! That is her real treasure trove! I immensely liked the fact that Rudra was never once rude with her! He may not have smiled but he didn't demean her! He truly cares from the bottom of his heart and his problem is that he is unable to express his feelings to anybody not just Paro!! He couldn't react or express to Mrs. Singh asking him about the arrangements in the room! Loved Paro's wifely touch when she inquired whether he had purchased any gift for Mr. & Mrs. Sigh for their wedding anniversary!! She is even ready to make something out of the colored threads and needle that she found in the room! Let's see what talented Mrs. Rudra comes up with as a gift for the Singhs! We are in for a lovely ride for sure!!!

Ashish and Sanaya were brilliant! Sanaya in particular! Her epic Khushi Kumari Gupta was not to be seen in Paro's guise and that was a huge success as far as Sanaya portraying Paro is concerned!! Had she aped any of Khushi's stunts here I would have been majorly put off Paro's character permanently just when I had started liking her! But Sanaya's restrained performance and just the right kind of fun was a delight to watch!! I am awaiting the moment when both Paro and Rudra will be more aware of each other as husband and wife in the true sense. Jaipur trip is the only time when they will get a chance to come closer otherwise once they are back in the haveli, the plotting, planning, and scheming of Kakisa would spoil all the fun for them. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!

Eagerly awaiting tonight's episode!!

Mozart, 🤗 my love, you have me down pat!! Die-hard romantic - that's me!! 😃 And this, as you can guess, is my dream track, for the moment all pink and fragrant and begging to be lit up - like the candle Paro inhaled in the bathroom.
@ Playing out the vow in reverse: 👏👏 Brilliant prediction Mozart and it's come true!!
@ Paro bringing out the best of Rudra: Excellent point! Yes I so hope that this trip achieves that for Rudra. One unblemished, shiny, happy memory of togetherness for both of them - couldn't ask for more...just yet. 😉
@ Paro's treasure trove: Well said - it is indeed her treasure trove for a long while to come. She's already got the rose from their post-wedding blindfolded rasam, and now this card. So romantic but fills me with trepidation for when she'll need to use them as a substitute because the real thing won't be with her.
@ Rudra's inability to express his emotions - universal: 👏👏 Mozart, you're on a roll!! So true. He just doesn't respond to the softer things. Will be delicious this humanising of him.
@ KKG not in evidence: I know what you mean. Come the comedy bits and you can't blame us for expecting a reprisal of KKG. But, and what an effort it must have been for Sanaya, she manages to pull off comedy and bumbling without once seeming like KKG. 👏👏👏 to her, really great performance!!
@ More aware of themselves as husband and wife: True, after Jaipur, and the upcoming intimacies that we've been led to expect, I can't see them as going back to the overtly unaware couple they were. More denial, stronger hate maybe, but also the awareness out in the open between them. 😳😃

Hi Sabs! What a dreamy episode that was... sigh.. and your post was just as dreamy...
@ your "almost consumashun" comment... I feel like CVs have the potential to surprise us... Dark days are definitely ahead with return of Laila/Thakur-sa/Thakurain tracks, so there could be "Hindi tv serial-allowable" romance we may see in this track... fingers crossed.

My thoughts on the episode...

I felt so happy for Paro today... It was like someone had said Amrish Puri's DDLJ dialogue to her... "Jaa Paro, jee le apni zindagi"... for those sweet 2 days (hopefully, all of the 2 days) she will cling on to these happy memories in her tough times to come.. For the first time, I could feel for her... when she danced around, the thakursa memories, the kakisa memories, the 8-vachan zinger wedding ceremony... all forgotten... Oh Paro, how beautiful a soul art thou!!

Rudra...what can I say about you... You, are DA DUDE! You need to feel guilty more often.. As some other post said... when he doesnt shout and yell and protest his feelings and just exists, not even try to be loving... but just IS.. their relationship just blossoms into something phenomenal... Wake up, Rudra..

A couple of other random thoughts...

1. Major Rudra's suffers from selective amnesia... Super sleuth to figure out Kakisa's antics, super smart to figure out Sumer's role in the paper story, but has forgotten to think about, let alone investigate a certain fire that almost killed his father

2. Speaking of bapusa... everyone's forgotten about him... even babloo!!😭 Ek phone call tho dikha do, CVs...

3. Speaking of babloo... thought Kakusa also worked for BSD in Singh Sir's unit... But no invitation to the "BAAALL" for him and Kakisa... bahut na-insaafi hain, Mrs Singh!! Aman ko bhi bulaaya... par Kakusa ko nahi... How I would have ROFL-d seeing Babloo-KcM dance 😆 alongside Rudra-Paro no less 😉

I can't wait for tonight's episode... 😃

Awesome write up as always...

and what a delightful episode it was.

Will just put down what I commented on Vicky's post.

I do feel this is Rudra's journey towards falling in love...they are baby steps...but he is getting there gradually. He too is treating her like a child...yet he does not fail to feel the beautiful woman that she is.

And rightly said for Paro, Rudra is her world. She is lost without him. Her old world comprised of Tej and Maasa, and now its Rudra.

At the same time I see that Rudra is extremely possessive of her. So when he does fall in love and admits, its going to turn aggressive...and that is that darkness that he might just bring upon her without knowing how much it scares her.

The best part is she does not stay in that darkness, but gets out of it, though scared as hell. And it will be Rudra who will return back for her. Very telling...

The card her little treasure that she will cherish for always.

Cant wait for tonight as you said...

Thank you DD. 😃
@ Rudra's journey to love: Hmmm, I feel he's in love already, but refuses to admit it. So for me this is Rudra's journey to acknowledging his love. I really hope Jaipur tips him over the point of no-return, where he simply can't deny it for one thinking, rational moment, no matter how he denies it later on (and deny he will).
@ For Paro, Rudra is her world: Completely agreed! Her world begins and ends with him.
@ Rudra's possessiveness will bring Paro darkness: 👏 Beautifully put! He's making life miserable for her when he fears he might lose control. The day he loses control will be the day he scares the living daylights out of himself, and her (for a bit). Because a part of me, like you, is pretty sure that after the initial shock, Paro will figure out the best way to manage him, and surprise him and us into the bargain.

Thank you! 😃 Yesterday was a lovely and romantic interlude. But interlude unfortunately. I can't see the hot-sweet pink lasting undiluted beyond this week. But then I can't see the CVs veering too far away from it either. So just a question of a deep breath when the going gets rough!! 😉

Sabs, it is so true that both Rudra and Paro need at least one unblemished, happy memory of togetherness to tide them over when the dark clouds loom larger on the horizon. I too am a bit scared about this happiness and Paro's treasure trove, for it seems too unreal right now, to be shattered in the future and so I escaped mentioning it. Didn't want to think about the future.

Mozart👍🏼 I love your predictions... yeah, your prediction about reverse vachans came true... your interpretation that Rudra only had Paro's comfort in mind when he suggested that she not come to Jaipur, was bang on... Cos today, he displayed complete awareness of the fact that all this was new to her... Starting with the way he held the lift elevator door with his body as she walked in, explaining every little detail about the room without her asking... replying to every innocent query and being aware of every little action of hers today, realising quickly enough when he messes up (by carrying the key out with him)... Rudra was the perfect pati...

He is kicking himself for not being aware of Paro's burnt wrist... go ahead, Rudra... overcompensate for screwing up... we are loving it!

Here's hoping for a killer week of RR episodes and looking forward to lots of RR, Rudra, Paro and bedroom and shower discussions! hopefully with atleast one of them in a bathrobe at any given point of time... *claps her hand in glee*
