Ohhh...the true vachan of love...finally...adore the way you wrote the vows...
And also fell in love with that aakhri sentence wala metaphor...parched desert and soothing rain...yeah, that one 😉
Very nicely done!
Ok..too sleepy now...but sleeping with a smile on my face..
Will edit in the morning with a better comment...
Gnite!
Edited!!!
Sorry, sorry, sorry!!! Itni der ho gayee!!!
I love your hopelessly-in-love Rudra...the one who grins sloppily, squirms under his Paro's annoyed gaze, who sheepishly wants to rub the back of his neck when she catches him lying, the one who forgets the about the strategising and planning, that he has been doing for years, in a hearbeat and drives to her house impulsively, to confess...because he is in love, so in love!!!
Mami-sa plays the wise, knowing, motherly role, who knows just what will make Paro change her mind...nice touch there!!
My heart almost broke for him when he feels that she may not love him any more...and his love for her is so deep, he is willing to let her go, if thats what makes her happy...
Thankfully Paro bai sa had no plans of going anywhere...
Really..kaisa yeh pyaar hai...where they both are willing to let each other go...if it makes the other happy...no matter that they cannot possible live without each other...
I just loved the way you rewrote the vows...I really look forward to such a scene in the show as well...when he will make up for each cruel word uttered during that fiasco of a shaadi...
Soothing rain, parched earth...beautiful!
I completely agree that losing Paro is the only way to jolt Rudra in to realising his love, his need for her...
This was a very satisfying read... I am so glad that you wrote the additional parts!!!
Lots of love,
Maya
