Ok. This is totally how Rudra should realize he's head over heels in love with Paro. Just stumbling in the fact and flabbergasted he didn't realize or see it before.
The mind process and how it was set out is just perfect. The reaction of him going staraght to Paro to tell her makes me debate a bit if Rudra would actually do that, BUT before that all of it was spot on Rudra.

Brill work.

Part two
Awesome update
Why did you stop when he finally recognize and accepted his love for Parvati?! Please continue. I want to read Parvati POV too and I hope that Rudra will fight for his marriage and love.
It's just been one day and Rudra is missing his wife, her peaceful presence in his life terribly. It is depicted in his every gesture.
He is in mess. Every corner of the house is making him remember his moments with Parvati. Their room is haunting him.
I love the their relation progress in the previous six moths. Both didn't realize that when their life started revolving around each other and Parvati became a habit for Rudra. She became his peace, rest and now the reason of his life too. It's unbearable for him to live without her just one day then how could he spend rest of his life.
I enjoyed a lot reading it.

Ohhh...the true vachan of love...finally...adore the way you wrote the vows...
And also fell in love with that aakhri sentence wala metaphor...parched desert and soothing rain...yeah, that one 😉
Very nicely done!

Ok..too sleepy now...but sleeping with a smile on my face..

Will edit in the morning with a better comment...

Gnite!

Edited!!!

Sorry, sorry, sorry!!! Itni der ho gayee!!!

I love your hopelessly-in-love Rudra...the one who grins sloppily, squirms under his Paro's annoyed gaze, who sheepishly wants to rub the back of his neck when she catches him lying, the one who forgets the about the strategising and planning, that he has been doing for years, in a hearbeat and drives to her house impulsively, to confess...because he is in love, so in love!!!

Mami-sa plays the wise, knowing, motherly role, who knows just what will make Paro change her mind...nice touch there!!

My heart almost broke for him when he feels that she may not love him any more...and his love for her is so deep, he is willing to let her go, if thats what makes her happy...
Thankfully Paro bai sa had no plans of going anywhere...
Really..kaisa yeh pyaar hai...where they both are willing to let each other go...if it makes the other happy...no matter that they cannot possible live without each other...

I just loved the way you rewrote the vows...I really look forward to such a scene in the show as well...when he will make up for each cruel word uttered during that fiasco of a shaadi...

Soothing rain, parched earth...beautiful!

I completely agree that losing Paro is the only way to jolt Rudra in to realising his love, his need for her...

This was a very satisfying read... I am so glad that you wrote the additional parts!!!

Lots of love,
Maya

Thank you for giving a perfect end of the story.
I thought that Rudra will device a full proof plan to win Paravti back in his life and to confess his love but he rather acted in a very different way.
I like that he didn't leave a second after recognizing his love for Parvati and went to confess it to Paro.
His eagerness was clearly showed in his eyes and in dishevel and typical majnoo state.
The last test in love is patience and Rudra successfully cleared it too with awesome marks when Parvati ignored her in her home. She brilliantly masked her feeling for Rudra, I must say she is a smart lady and I love her character in his story.
I love the innocent love confession of Rudra, it was utmost sweet and very Lovely.
Parvati too missed him and her condition was same that of Rudra. Their hearts are interlinked then how could they be different from each other anymore.
His pure love confession acted as a balm on her wounds and vanished all the misunderstanding and pain in her heart.
I love the end and the beautiful words of Rudra for praising Parvati.
This was very sweet and beautiful story.
