Would like to know your thoughts on what else he can do to hurt Paro other than using the Laila card. Just for the fun of predicting and then checking later

I am in the US, east coast J...and insane to be posting on IF this time...😆Will go to bed soon...

Hmmm...what can he do to hurt Paro...now that's a tough one...If you had asked what he can do to be nice...many would have tons of ideas...😆

But since you asked...lets see...

He can ignore her...and go about his business like she didn't matter
He can refuse to take part in religious rituals with her...
He can pay more attention to other women...even Maithli...,,
He can make fun of her beliefs...
...

Thats my menu...I am sure the CVs are more creative than me...and have other/ better ideas...

That's great Sush.

I was waiting for this post, so I can add my mom's views too.

My mom too loved the marriage and the 8 vachans. She said that Major was drunk, but he doesn't mean it. Just look at his eyes when she gets hurt😆 Major there goes your gussa wala drama...Paro is not buying it and none of us are😆

Yes she too believes the marriage is real. There is no need for another one, as long as the fire is there, And the pheras are done. Then she said the mangalsutra-sindoor are extras😆.

Mom loves Paro...it's an understatement. She adores her. She says she has it in her to bend the major to her way...she has a will of steel behind that velvet exterior.

And finally she loves SI so much now that she is bugging me for internet links to her earlier shows😆
I want to ask her to watch the currently running Tamil version, but on second thoughts that would totally mess it up because of the dubbing.

So SI has a new fan in my mom.

Hi SB...apparently your mom hit the nail on the head with the Indian law requirement ...😃

It is.

Being a non-Hindu, I used to take great interest in Hindu Law! We had a very sad memory on this issue ... because in the case that resolved the issue once for all, the poor girl who thought she got married to her master's son (Some Amulya Chandra) by exchange of garlands had to finally know that the marriage was invalid ...And the Supreme Court ruled that the two basic requirements of Hindu marriage would be those two I mentioned. Everything else, exchange of garlands, putting mangalsutra and vermilion -- all these are mere rituals, they do not validate a marriage. The court had all the sympathy for the girl who was pregnant at that time.. but they had to define a law.

Sorry for this out-of-topic discussion.
