Now i can understand pretty well and my suggestion for beginners is pls don't watch with subtitles.. if u are doing so u can never learn the beautiful language... so simply watch twice / thrice the same episode and u will start understanding it with time...

this is a very good suggestion...or if you want ...after the episode recaps are up...watch the epi and read the recap ...scene by scene...most of the scenes are covered by recappers word by word...you'll soon pick up some general words, lines and phrases used for those particular situations...pretty soon you'll find yourself getting the gist of the dialogues without recaps...
this is from my personal experience...I learned about 50% of the Korean language by watching Kdramas like this...coz subs for those shows are usually up after 2-3 days ...and i was not willing to wait that long...😆

But when i continued to watching it.. I can understand their words related with cooking ... @TM try to understand itwithout subtitles

ya first few weeks u will understand simple words like - yes, no, I, etc etc..
then after u know a few words then when another sentence comes u will learn one more word.. like that within a few months u will know the language really well!

my best friend can't read our native language as she studied in English medium. And most hindi stuff came in with our native language subs. As she couldn't read the words she learned hindi when she was abt 7-8 yrs old itself as she loved them!
