And once again, I am at a loss of words!!!

A forgiving Paro would have been too "expected", an Angry Paro would have been good, but this Rage filled Paro, waiting fr him to come so she could reject him, This cold Paro who wants to inflect pain on him- I dont think I expected that!!

And oh the major!!!

All in all, over -whelmingly brilliant!!👏👏👏

I like how this is fast becoming an SS in itself. Jasheem Khan is a really interesting character. I think psychopaths are very difficult to write about. Because how do you write a character that feels nothing. Only a sick satisfaction at others' pain? Very well done , Navin. I love Paro's thought processes. When will a female protagonist on TV be as layered and as complicated?
P. S. Has the Major brought him to Paro? Or is it HIM asking for forgiveness? Oh wait . He saw her back. That's why he collapsed. I'm such a tubelight

Wonderful update. Rudr in gahtak commandos unit was a nice twist. Jashmeen khan will not know what hit him and he deserves every bit of it.
What was really touching was Paro's thoughts. Her wish for him to ask her forgiveness was not far fetched. In fact she deserves it. After all she has suffered and now that everyone thinks that she is innocent, her only thought is why is he not convinced of her innocence. For her only his opinion matters, cause it was only him who could affect her life.

The first few paragraphs, I thought the story should have been titled revenge!
But as it went on, the repentance began to take some shape and form.

Rudra is a killer too. Not just a soldier, but part of the death squad. The ones who sacrifice their souls for the country .

Shades of Jason Bourne and Delta!

And so Jasheen Khan is killed. With help from his own comrade. And that is his absolution. To give him freedom to face his judgment.

For he lived in terror of going barehanded to Paro.
He knows that the sight of her will put him in such pain that will scar his soul for several lifetimes. That her glance will make his face dissolve.

So he kills jasheen. For his pain.
Jasheens death is the painkiller he needs to take before he can face Paro.

i'll start off by apologizing to you first..you know i've been stalking you for the longest time to check whether you've updated or not...however the last couple of days have been excruciating for me, especially on the work front...i feel terrible to see the that you've PMed me, notifying me about this update and yet i haven't been able to post this comment on time..anyway coming back to the story...i read it thrice...as a matter of fact, i re-read each of the chapters several times...call me a loony!!..😆..but seriously, i feel each time i read a chapter, i discover new facets about the characters and the situations that they are in at a given moment...the same holds true for this installment as well..i was once aghast at the idea of paro being in love with this jallad...i despised the treatment meted out to her though unfortunately, most prisoners are often treated in this horrendous fashion..but now i just don't know what to feel for rudra...i just don't know what to make of the situation that both rudra and paro are in at the moment...do i feel pity this man?..i guess, yes..do i feel extremely sorry for this unfortunate poor girl?...heal yeah...infact somewhere down the line, i had started pitying rudra right after going through the previous chapter...the comparison between the flower and paro was profound...and i have nothing to say about the end...i don't think i can ever come up with the right words..also i've noticed one thing...you've always mentioned rudra as HIM as opposed to him...i feel it paints a much bigger and grander picture of a child in the body of a man, a being who though in his adulthood is still battling the demons of his past..am i right?...

Kya kahoon? I'm at a loss for where to praise you, Napster Di, because I think I've exhausted everything. My fangirling, my failed attempts at analysis, nothing is good enough for your writing. Not when you put out stuff like this. I can only dream of ever being as fantastic as you at this- you're better than the professionals.

What stands out the most for me in your writing is your ability to make characters- you're like a sculptor. You carefully mould these characters, and with every oneshot, you press a little harder at the clay, tweaking the nose and making the intricate details finer. They come to life with your words, almost jump out of the screens.

I'm just in awe, Napster Di. I'm going to be struggling for words next time too, but I'll try to articulate what I feel when I read your work, because you truly deserve every praise being heaped on you.
