I swear I was sleeping and something made me wake up and check this thread--turns out those pins STILL give me nightmares! I remember those horrible nasty shiny black beetle looking things--I think we need Princesssunera to answer WHY those pins had to torture poor Sanaya's pretty fringe to submission for 1.5 years...it was not a necessity with the KKG look, to have her light fringe under house arrest---ASR liked to play with it whenever it was loose.
And with RR, the outfits are so much more graceful and feminine, the fringe softens Paro's face. Loose hair and her fringe slightly layered for front volume is absolutely key to her look.
Hairstyle wise, the top looks for me were the trendy fishtail side braid that started so stylishly from her crown, (mehendi look) the curling of the open hair for the sangeet, with tendrils and sideswept curls, and, actually, the really casual side pony with the band of flowers for the holud--though for that one, her hairstylist was probably like--what? Imma not gonna do anything more, mmmkaaay? its gonna be like, wet with hose-pipe water and raw sex appeal in 10 minutes, you feelin me! (I dont know why Sanaya's hairstylist has a Brooklyn NYC accent in my head, but anyways...)
Casual hair looks on Paro has never been as good as the hair ornament one for the iconic Rudra Meeting Paro and saving her scene--with the silver chains from the clip hooking around her hair--that was just..wow. Everything else on the normal days have been slightly better versions of KKG, no hairclips. Gotta say, I am sick of the side braid on Sanaya, which they are starting to use again after the red-jodha. Seen that for far too long--both back then, and with the RR wedding outfit, both!!
