You pressed the right thinking button on me... masha allah, kya kubhsoorthi se lekha hai aapne...

Yet when their mehendi smeared hands joined together, their looks at each other changed. The WIND BLEW INTO THEIR HAIR...and it was Not just Rudra...but BOTH.

And it's the case with every physical intimacy between them.

Very Very true

Sanaya & Ashish managed to evoke such strong explosive reactions on the forum. This means they delivered to the T and beyond what the Director or CVs wanted.

Bang on...SANISH and team se RR hai aur RR se yeh amazing forum hai. Jai ho.

Wasn't expecting this reaction to my post...thanks

Nice post. Not many people notice that Paro is conflicted too, especially when Rudra is being himself and not playing mind games with her.

Yes its very hard to read..because Paro is not shown to dwell on her thoughts or feelings...but there are subtle scenes that say it all...her not repulsing to his touch...her going to him and offering lep, her trusting him to help in the Maithli kidnap case.

You have done a Fabulous job with this post.👏
I totally agree with you.👍🏼

And that is why the self-harm. The hate is directed more towards her own self. For Rudra evokes those feelings in her that she believes in her heart are sinful.

I haven't seen disgust in her eyes for a while either...maybe from the 'chai' scene where the mutual attraction was shown from both sides?
There is an obvious distress on her face, I believe it stems from the feelings he is evoking in her. She was not in the least shocked seeing the blood smeared as sindoor by his finger on to her mang. That action alone should have terrified her, made her furious... even tho done unintentionally. But it didn't gain any reaction from her.
Yesterday's mehendi scene, I think Rudra's foremost concern was to apply it as an ointment to her hands..His care when it comes to Paro has been shown over and over...& in the midst he used it to goad her with the 'R' with the mission.

Rudra is committed in this marriage...esp now with the sindoor saga done... I think this is what the cv's will do to keep them together...seeing in their marrigaes the MS n sindoor is applied first...I think Paro will be kidnapped before the phera...

Agree the sindoor scene is a lot more significant than the mehendi one. Strangely that did not evoke as much disgust as the mehendi did.

Here it was more her anger that he got the better of her eventually. He was being mean and vicious and playing with her feelings knowing too well how much she hated it.

Yeah could be kidnapped or attacked before the pheras. I wont be surprised if his mother is hurt. Because her entry and meeting Rudra is going to be dramatic.

Sigh here I am again...leaving work aside trying to interpret a scene that gave me a sleepless night & making posts for all the wrong reasons!

And I have a hubby who wakes up in the morning to read aloud PARO on my PARODONTAX toothpaste tube whilst arguing about claiming ownership over it!😳

Talk about RR madness at 6:30 am in a home! Midlife crisis it is I say...😛

So many conflicting posts...and so many comments...the shakal of the forum has changed from HAWT maang scenes to a SHOCKING mehendi scene!

Let's keep our personal likes and dislikes aside. In reality men like Rudra need to be kicked hard and hanged upside down.

Honestly I would have loved to read the screenplay of the mehendi scene to know what exactly the CVs had in mind whilst describing the scene to the most brilliant actors and how it should come out.

Sanaya & Ashish managed to evoke such strong explosive reactions on the forum. This means they delivered to the T and beyond what the Director or CVs wanted. 👏

Expressions is what the actor puts across in a scene and the blowing of wind in their hair is created by the CVs to express what words or expressions cannot.

What I have concluded from this dramatic scene was that despite the tears, the disgust, the anguish, the pain, the hate there is an underlying friction and attraction FOR EACH OTHER.

Paro was NOT repulsed by his touch. For me Paro is fighting a bigger battle within herself more than with Rudra.

At the mehendi session, she could not talk back nor physically fight back and scream at him for forcibly applying the mehendi on her burnt hands.

Yet when their mehendi smeared hands joined together, their looks at each other changed. The WIND BLEW INTO THEIR HAIR...and it was Not just Rudra...but BOTH.

And it's the case with every physical intimacy between them.

And that is why the self-harm. The hate is directed more towards her own self. For Rudra evokes those feelings in her that she believes in her heart are sinful.

Going back a few episodes...

The day before her hands were not bound to rub off the blood stain from her maang nor were there people around them...yet she stared at her dishevelled self. Confused and scared at what the future holds with her Enemy.

Haldi Lep scene - when he flipped her on his bed, Paro did not scream back and say get off me.

When he took off the necklace she did not retort back' If u do not want to touch me why did you? I could do it on my own.

When he placed the bangles on her hands, she did not pull them off and throw them away before leaving the place, and again when he smeared the sindoor in her maang she did not rub it off or even try to.

Never once has Paro been repulsed by his closeness.

What I see is Paro is more disgusted with herself than with Rudra. She finds herself being unfaithful to Varun every time she reacts to Rudra. And that troubles her the most.

Hence that flashback scene and remark by Kakisa about her second wedding. It was a stark stark reminder that she was not allowed to forget her dead husband. Here Kakisa stood for the world that never allows a widow to move on in society.

Secondly this fierce fidelity (to Thakur & mind you VARUN too) is what irks Rudra the most.

But at the same time it exalts her loyalty trait which he cannot phantom in a beautiful woman whilst it slowly breaks his belief that woman are not traitors.

This is the crux of their love story. She a widow who will come to love another man, he a hater of beautiful women who comes to love one. Thakur, documents, BSD blah blah is just the backdrop of their beautiful relationship.

I probably haven't been able to bring it out as beautifully as some of the fabulous writers do here. If i have managed to make sense in any way, would love to hear your take on this...

hugs

Hi ... glad to hear that I was not singly going mad to make sense of the episode.

I refrained from taking sides or posting yesterday as the scene was forcing me to take sides.. ever heard of a piece of fiction which actually absorbs you into it ? This is what CVs managed yesterday. 👏 and quite bold ...very bold venture as what they showed was public rape of Paro's sensibilities and you cannot but feel for her. No woman deserves this. The same way what Rudra did was inexcusable and inhuman. All the more he is aware of this as he threatens her that he can stoop to any level to restore the honor of his soldiers. You cannot but feel for him too as it is easy to rise for a higher cause and do what is right or heroic but what if things that you need to do are not heroic... they are down right horrible...it involves what you yourself think is wrong .. if you don't get happiness but will at some point come back to haunt you?

This is the best out of all the posts I have seen which interpreted the whole scene as what it conveyed rather than getting cowed down by whats actually is happening in the scene. As whats happening in the scene was pretty dark than dark itself. Let me congratulate you as you did not lose your head by taking one side or the other ..fighting/choosing who is wrong and who is not.

what you said was correct.
Expressions is what the actor puts across in a scene and the blowing of wind in their hair is created by the CVs to express what words or expressions cannot.

what the makers want to show is that though horrendous things are happening between this man and woman, they are also being fatally attracted to each other.

The choice of that background music gives me creeps as to whats in store for future.

@ bold...Phew...thanks...you understood me well. I am not here to judge anyone...I love my heroine (a lot more actually) just as much as I love my hero.

If I go by my personal feelings then I should have given up watching a show like RR from the word go...where he tied her hands inside the jeep, and banged her against the wall whilst questioning.

I still find that the PH need to stop showing that jeep scene between scenes and select a more positive scene to sell the show in a positive way. I am sure the TRPs would rock.

Ok again I have deviated from the topic...
