Interesting post. Was nice to read another take on yesterday's episode. After reading yours and FLS posts, my thoughts are getting reinforced, that by blanking out Paro's thoughts and making her stoic/passive the creatives have not really done any favours, albeit as FLS said they can now mold Paro as per TRP and audience sensibilities when needed. By not giving any insight into her various internal conflicts, which she clearly has, as she said that to Mythali, they have left it to us to make whatever out of it, hence the multiple interpretations. Wish at least once we hear the "bahut kuch" which Paro is feeling. Pity, when they have an actress like SI who can deliver the exact feelings.
About the last scene for me the breeze and song seemed a misfit with the what I thought the scene was supposed to be which is battle of wills and domination. Here I am not making moral judgements, Rudra is under increasing pressure and Paro challenged him. He said he will do whatever it takes, and he has bent rules before. I felt that the scene was about his domination, her breaking down bit by bit. All the softening aside, there are moments when his goal and her principles take precedence.
Thanks...do read my comments to FLS's post.
And I agree the "bahut kucch" needs to be spelled out
