Interesting post. Was nice to read another take on yesterday's episode. After reading yours and FLS posts, my thoughts are getting reinforced, that by blanking out Paro's thoughts and making her stoic/passive the creatives have not really done any favours, albeit as FLS said they can now mold Paro as per TRP and audience sensibilities when needed. By not giving any insight into her various internal conflicts, which she clearly has, as she said that to Mythali, they have left it to us to make whatever out of it, hence the multiple interpretations. Wish at least once we hear the "bahut kuch" which Paro is feeling. Pity, when they have an actress like SI who can deliver the exact feelings.

About the last scene for me the breeze and song seemed a misfit with the what I thought the scene was supposed to be which is battle of wills and domination. Here I am not making moral judgements, Rudra is under increasing pressure and Paro challenged him. He said he will do whatever it takes, and he has bent rules before. I felt that the scene was about his domination, her breaking down bit by bit. All the softening aside, there are moments when his goal and her principles take precedence.

Thanks...do read my comments to FLS's post.

And I agree the "bahut kucch" needs to be spelled out

Aww that's alright DD Real life takes precedence so no issues

Let me first clarify your confusion over my multiple personalities It was quite famous in another forum I got christened the Grinch by a very dear but most irritated IF friend who hated the way I managed to suck the joy out of the viewing pleasure of many laub scenes by asking too many logical questions and refusing to suspend disbelief and look at it with rosy colored glasses Karma is a beech for probably she cursed me enough and now I have to suspend all my disbelief to the point of belief to watch RR If FLG had to write the way she sees it she would probably get railroaded off this forum by a lynch mob baying for her blood FLS is the straight talker and a trouble shooter/maker but in a tactful way FLW is a wuss she had to mediate quite a bit in another forum over fan wars Now FLH is hormonal she came out as a lark when rumors of a certain Viraf popped up and jokingly pretended to drool over him Now I FLS will share a dirty secret with you FLH spent the better part of over a month when RR debuted drooling over Rudra hangs head in shame (FLH) she better says FLG😡 considering the amount of Immunosuppressive drugs that FLS system was subject so FLH could live her secret fantasies It was a good thing I was busy with the new year revelries and watched RR on my DVR over the weekend and was not active on IF thankfully else the damage to the Grinch reputation of being anti phangurl period would have been irrefutable and FLS would have to come under a new ID unable to bear the ignominy of that shame and to add fuel to the fire FLH was also leching after Tejawat and his eyebrows Took a great deal of strategy planning and timing to ambush FLH which FLS/G/W did successfully read her the anti phangurl riot act and sent her packing to a obscure corner never to rise again Ok she does try to come out when she sees Tejawats eyebrows They talk about expressive eyes He has got to have the most expressive brows To think FLH once wanted to comb those eyebrows herself Augh shudder shudder nightmarish month it was 😡 and now it is only about the story says a smug FLS a proud FLG a happy FLW and whimpering down and out FLH

Gosh did not associate your name with the other but now I see why you had to clarify and thanks anyways for probably it might have registered another time and I might have wondered

Hmm about that Haldi scene I don't think she was aware of him as a man then She viewed him as her captor but who had taken a hit on her behalf and felt compelled to heal his injury She knew he would not accept the balm or use it while awake so she just sneaked in to apply when he was asleep Ergo she did not scream when he flipped as awareness had not set in and I also think she is totally blind that he is attracted to her as a woman Now the TRP viewer may have just giggled or sighed and let it be But in the necklace scene I think you and I are on the same page this is where the Creative's have smartly played their cards they showed enough for doubt to seep through but not so open that objections might be raised over her growing awareness as a woman That hesitation and that surprised look was probably the cue but then we sit and analyze here but the lay viewer would not have seen that so sometimes I wonder is RR for the internet audience sort
Come to think of it many of their so called romantic scenes have been rather odd showing passion attraction one second then indifference and hatred the next unlike another story where it was slowly steadily in a parallel tangent Here they seem to generate scenes without much thought process going or maintenance of emotional continuity

I think we all got desperate to see some of the FL thinking and turmoil I am currently watching another serial at 11 never expected to watch 2 desi serials at the same time much less 1 but what a beautiful interpretation of the character of that FL and ML and the story is cracking I used to watch it on the weekend but it got so interesting I now catch it on real time

Honestly I don't like viewing soaps only for one character it has be BOTH the leads and the ensemble or none at all a reason I give all these Saas Bahu sorts a huge distance Dementors Delight was more well rounded till hara Kiri maybe that is why it was a unforgettable experience plus it was written by a woman All said and done she did a magnificent job bringing out the nuances of the FL till satyanash If I wanted to see only bad boys I have my Dexter and he be the baddest with an plausible dark past and passenger and twisted demented mommy issues to boot and for my need of smart female leads I have my spirited girl in Carrie Mathison with her inherent endearing human flaws and she actually had an obsession with Brody her suspect so desi soaps interest me only if it is an all round fare

I depend on IF many times to interpret what exactly the creative's are wanting to show and at times left unsatisfied with the interpretations here as well so you can imagine the plight of TRP viewers who are not part of IF and couldn't care less over the subliminal messages and want something that is straightforward without them having to rack their brains over the expressions and dialogues If they are unable to make the connect they just change the remote to the next serial of interest In the words of the Eponymous Vidya Balan character in Dirty Picture Entertainment Entertainment Entertainment is all what they want at the end of their day

My 2 paisa worth (may seem to digress if so my apologies in advance)

Sigh I will admit after the shock and awe of seeing a method actor like Ashish on TV An awesome Ananya and a Natural like Tarun my phangurling days got over about 2 weeks back I am now left feeling a bit hollow I am no longer thrilled just by the acting (sometimes too much of a good thing can lead to indigestion and wanting to reach for a pepto) or seeing a Moochwala Eyebrowala hottie on the screen or Parud romantic scenes which make no sense given the current impasse between them Even Tarun's sexiness is not enough FLG has integrity thank you very much ( take that FLH) I want to see more of this well thought out story progress and I see they have tightened their grip on the scene continuity these days Initially there were times they would give us episodes that make you want to doff your hat and then they would go and muddle it up with something like that Tent scene which in a way is also responsible for the ruckus the other night Frankly they have done a bit of overkill in selling Rudras traumatic past so much to the point that I now heartlessly say oh no there he blows again They had done a brilliant job when he first entered the haveli and all his childhood memories assailed him I felt his sorrow and shed tears for him In fact I felt his torment in the first couple of weeks real well and connected with it emotionally but now I feel like saying ok lets move on They have a fabulous actor in Ashish who is more than capable of conveying what is needed the first time and the viewer does not need constant reminders The more sparing use of anguishing scenes will mean more of a powerful impact when something shocking happens to him

Paro seemed to have some life in her when she was wearing her bridal weeds note weeds not attire for it is then she sprung to life and was impactful and had tremendous potential to reel in the TRP viewers if only they had given her a soliloquy reflecting her mourning at that junction Lost opportunity alas now looks like she has been swallowed up and is part of the dining furniture and occasionally rises up like a lost waif resurrected from a tragic love drama to react to him and yes be that beautiful prop

Now having said that I will go on to say that Rangrasiya is not just the story of Rudra as is being touted by some nor can I see it as Paros in this present characterization but what I do see is it is their story and journey together The title track and name of the serial is very indicative of their intertwined fates Love stories can work if it is the tale of 2 else it be self love Probably we are getting more insights and his trauma a bit of an excess right now but nevertheless that her involvement with him will make sense a sort of justification of why she married him and for the rough treatment of his mother

I don't believe ST would have chosen some one like SI to essay this role if this was to be the story of only one person He could have just chosen Ashish and could have picked up any pretty face to serve as tokenism in a love story and be done with it and carry on with his soap yarn She was Nautankis automatic choice with no audition and then came the other roles Nor would they have selected this awesome ensemble cast that have some might fine acting skills and just chosen regular folks and hope to get by on phangurl power of the male character They would have saved quite a bit on actors remunerations alone

She comes with a huge fan base and with that consequences He is aware of that I also cannot believe SI is that imprudent to agree to take the backseat and consent merrily to be a prop once more after the disaster of her last hit show She knows the consequences She is not exactly hard up for projects given that she has been steadily working all this time and seems to be the current rage The fact that she was mulling over leaving the show despite knowing the amount of flak it will receive not to mention a hit to her professionalism means there is something in Paros character that she believes in and is willing to fight for its integrity if she feels there maybe a dilution so there must be something truly remarkable in her character sketch which viewers will have to patiently wait to unfurl The question is how long will one have to wait?

Thank you DD for once again giving me the opportunity to vent and hugs to you too

Hello FLS,
Itne saare FLs? Glad to have known just the straight talker!😊

Once again brilliantly written and insightful. Like Rudra says about Paro "sutli bomb hai yeh". Got to wait and watch.

And btw love to have my weekends Loaded with 11 pm shots too. 😃. Have to give to the Czarina, everything she touches turns to gold. Never thought I would say this about her.

See ya, it was wonderful interacting with you FLS.

Wow. Brilliant post. How the heck did I miss this 2 days ago? Oh I know why - I was shaken up after reading all the negative posts about the mehendi episode.
U are 100% right. She's angry at herself for being drawn to him. She feels she's committing some kind of sin for being attracted towards him. Whenever she says - chhodo manne ... I feel the lady doth protest too much.
The hair blowing is our tv version of luv and attraction. Your observation is bang on. 👏

Thanks...Honestly was a bit afraid veering in a different direction...but had to do it, right or wrong, its the way I see it

Yeh have you noticed during their first meeting, she was the one to touch him first...and there was no "chodo manne" after the tumble then...it happens more too often now.

The same here DD🤗 Enjoyed our interactions as well and sorry for the delay in replying Real life seems more demanding at the moment
I for one never ever thought I would watch one by her Have been sufficiently warned
never felt the inclination for this soap till I caught a random episode Even then had no clue it was her production and then later found out much to my amusement
Hope to bump into you in some other thread to carry on from where we left off 😊

Beautiful post. I think the actors have gone way beyond the directors expectations. a true sign of brilliance. Touching or not, Paro trusts Rudra..bas. It may be deep inside now, but will surface with all its glory soon.
